Brennan lied on the surface of Kyoka, the immense magical energy seeping from the surface of the planet surprised Brennan, simply lying here made him feel more powerful. But... it also made him feel different somehow. It made him feel like there was something deep inside him, waiting to be released by the planet's energy. Brennan didn't know what, but he knew that there was something lying dormant deep within him, something waiting to be released. Little did Brennan Skyllon know that his golden eye had turned a brown color, as had his normally vibrant blue hair. Suddenly, Brennan felt the urge to get up and do something, anything really. He stood up and stretched his arms, the magical energy now emanating from his own body. Pain exploded from within the boy's body, and he crumpled to the ground, in excruciating pain. He didn't know what was going on, all he knew was that his own body represented a magic circle. Glowing yellow lines had shown up on his skin, each and every one of them causing excruciating pain to the teenage boy's body. He screamed, writhing around in pain, and just like that, the boy had regretted ever coming to Kyoka.

As Brennan cracked open his eyes to check on the magical lines, he noticed that they were spreading. They started to look less and less like lines, and more and more like, well, glowing golden skin. Brennan had absolutely no idea what was happening, and the pain was so immense that all he could do is writhe. The gold glowed brighter and brighter, seemingly oblivious to the immense pain that it was causing Brennan. Then again, it probably was unaware of this, as whatever was happening to Brennan's body was most likely not sentient. Brennan would have sighed, if he weren't shrieking in pain.

The pain slowly started to subside, and the golden skin started to slowly fade away from Brennan's own tan skin. Brennan still writhed in pain as the burning pain in his skin started to subside, and started to breath steadily as soon as the gold was totally gone. One thing that Brennan noticed was his stature. The normally five foot, eleven inches tall teenager was now much shorter. In fact, Brennan Skyllon was now only five feet and three inches tall. Brennan was absolutely and completely dumbfounded, what in he world had happened to him? It obviously had something to do with the immense magical energy emanating from Kyoka, but it couldn't be random. There was clearly something dormant within Brennan that had caused this, but he had no idea what. The now 5'3" brown haired boy walked on the surface of Kyoka, not at all used to his tiny physique. "This is inconvenient." The tiny boy muttered sadly, stumbling around the surface, not very sure at all what to do. Were there any advantages to this tiny physique? Or was Brennan just cursed to be a small child for the rest of his life?

He sighed, and the small boy sat down glumly, drumming his fingers against the surface. Brennan then noticed the air around him shimmer, and started to float, without even trying. He blinked in surprise and soared around, happy to find out that there was an upside to this new, child-like form of him. He soared upwards, testing his own liquids. He didn't fly particularly quickly, but he seemed to be able to fly at rather high altitudes. Up, and up, he went, soaring around without a care in the world. Brennan thought that his earth pillars were an efficient way of traveling, but being able to fly, there was no topping that.

Brennan, or, the boy who was once Brennan, knew that his father had something to do with this, after all, his father had always been the weird, quirky one. He knew that his father had taken up residence in Kyoka, not to far from the spot that Brennan had been resting. In the heat of the moment, Brennan had forgotten that his father was the black sheep of the family, and would most likely do something or another to harm Brennan. The teenager walked up to a lone shack, seemingly deserted from the outside. The short teenager knocked on the door, and saw Albert Skyllon, who was 6'5" tall, opened the door, and peered out, not immediately seeing the short boy. He looked down, and finally saw the brunette boy, grunting. "Who're you?" He asked gruffly, staring down. "How can you not recognize me, dad?!" Brennan asked, rextremely irritated. The man raised his eyebrows, "Well, well. Brennan, it looks like the next generation has Awoken." Brennan scrunched his face in confusion, "What?" His father chuckled, and beckoned for Brennan to enter. Brennan entered reluctantly, and started to float, crossing his legs in the air. Brennan's father revealed a tattoo on his left leg. Brennan peered down at his own left leg, and found a crimson tattoo of a bear-like thing.

"What is this?" Brennan asked reluctantly, and his father bit his lip for a second before answering. "That, my son, means that you are to Seven Sins of the next generation." A quizzical look was still spread across Brennan's face, "And what does that mean?" His father chuckled, and walked up to a wall, where a strange ax was mounted. Albert picked it up, and handed it to Brennan, who held the ax in his hands awkwardly. "What's this?" His father didn't answer for a minute, and when he did, all he said was, "That's for you to decide, and for me to find out." Brennan wasn't sure what his father meant, but he knew that all would be explained shortly, that was just how his father operated.

"Well..." His father said hesitantly, "It's not actually for you to decide. It's for Excalibur to decide." A confused look spread across Brennan's face, "I'm sorry...?Excalibur?" His father stopped for a second, "The weapon is Excalibur." Brennan frowned, "I thought Excalibur was a sword?" His father sighed, "It was, at one point, a sword, but the form of the weapon changes depending on the user. For example, it was an ax for me, but it might be something else for you..." Brennan grinned, and Albert began to talk again. "Now, let's go outside. Let's see what Excalibur thinks you need." Albert started to pace outside, and Albert's silver hair glittered in the light. Brennan followed him, lugging the ax, which was way too heavy for his tiny frame.

Albert smiled, "Hold out Excalibur, swing it around." Brennan nodded, and started to float, struggling to hold the heavy ax in front of his face. Brennan swung the ax, and it was so heavy that he was lugged a meter to the left as he swung it. "Gah!" He yelled, stabilizing himself. He struggled to float in the air, the hundred pound ax holding him down. As Brennan struggled to stay aloft, Excalibur started to glow, a golden aura rendering the ax impossible to look at. The ax grew lighter and lighter, and started to change shape. In a matter of seconds, Excalibur went from an insanely heavy ax to a long, sleek spear. A  floating Brennan held Excalibur and easily twirled it around. "Perfect!" He said with a grin, cracking his own neck. "I wonder..." He muttered, throwing the spear in the air, where it floated. As Brennan moved his arm, the Spear moved as well. "This is even better!" He said with a grin. Brennan's father smiled as well, happy with the boy's progress.

"Fight me." Said Albert, his silver hair glistening unnaturally in the sunlight. Brennan looked at him quizzically, but nodded, and stood on Excalibur's shaft. He lied down on Excalibur and curled up, flying towards his father. The silver haired man dodged Brennan, who jumped off of Excalibur, and floated in front of his father. The spear floated besides Brennan, who, unwittingly, started muttering. "Hummingbird." He said, only realizing he had said it after it had come out of his mouth. Excalibur flew towards Albert, flying around erratically. Even Brennan couldn't predict the movements of his spear as it flew around rapidly, each and every time attempting to strike Albert. Brennan's father, however, was much too fast for Excalibur, and dodged it each and every time, without even moving. Brennan grimaced, unsure why he was even fighting his father. But yet, the two men fought. Or rather, the man and the boy fought. Brennan grabbed Excalibur and dropped to the ground, charging at his own father. Brennan slammed Excalibur's blade into the ground, causing him to rise in the air. As he pole vaulted over his father, Brennan floated in the air, in jabbing Excalibur into his father's left shoulder.

Albert Skyllon grabbed Excalibur's shaft, and ripped it out of his own shoulder, sending it into the air, along with Brennan. Brennan and Excalibur flew about a meter, before Brennan stabilized himself, as did Excalibur. Brennan expected his father to be affected by the pain somehow, but he remained unfazed. In fact, the wound healed rapidly, and in a matter of seconds, Brennan's father was good as new. "Nice try." Albert said with a grin, "But it's gonna take more than that to hurt me." Brennan grimaced, and curled up on Excalibur's shaft, unsure what exactly he need to do in order to harm his father.

Excalibur flew towards Albert Skyllon, and Brennan once again muttered, "Hummingbird." As it had before, the spear began to whip around erratically, and not even Brennan could predict it's movements. He clung onto the shaft of the spear as it flew around, and hoped that this would all end soon. The spear whipped around and struck Albert right in the carotid artery. Blood started spewing from Albert like water from a waterfall, but still, Albert stood, completely unfazed. He chuckled, "Nice try." He jumped up, flying almost 10 meters up, and performing a triple front flip, smashing his fists into the shaft of Excalibur, where Brennan was still sitting. He smashed into Excalibur with as much force as humanly possible, and the Spear flew into the ground, taking Brennan with it. The two smashed into the ground, creating a crater about 3 meters wide and 5 meters deep.

Brennan got up, gripping Excalibur's shaft to heave himself back to a standing point, and began to float. Excalibur began to float as well, and as Brennan flicked his wrist, Excalibur flew at Albert once again. Brennan's father grabbed Excalibur by the blade, ignoring the cuts on his palm, and chucked Excalibur back at Brennan. The spear stopped right before hitting Brennan, and began to float next to him, as it had been doing before. Brennan grimaced his father was strong, and this battle was proving to be a challenge. Brennan grabbed Excalibur and twirled it around, "Why exactly are we fighting, Dad?" Brennan asked, still twirling Excalibur. "Training." His father replied gruffly, "You need to learn the full extent of your abilities." Brennan smiled, and suddenly, the boy's small frame flew towards Albert, smashing into his father's ribs with Excalibur's shaft. Brennan heard a sharp crack and smiled, hoping his father wasn't immune to blunt force.

Brennan and Excalibur stood about three yards away from Albert, who rubbed his ribs, and quickly regained a normal stance, dashing towards Brennan. Brennan leaped into the air, Excalibur following after him, and floated in the air, just above his father's reach. Suddenly, Brennan crumpled to the ground, exhausted from the effort of fighting his father, and, of course, Excalibur did the same. Brennan's father growled, and leaped towards the exhausted Brennan, his foot slamming into the boy's rib cage with full force. Brennan screamed and moaned in pain, his tiny frame crumpling up even more. "What the...?" He moaned in agony, his arms flailing around aimlessly. The boy stood up slowly, gripping Excalibur's shaft, yelping with each movement. "Why did you...?" He attempted to ask his father, unable to finish the sentence. "Shut up, child." His father growled, dashing towards the crippled boy. Brennan was stunned at his own father's blatant disregard for his safety. Brennan suspended himself in the air, his own feet unable to hold him up.

Brennan wrapped his arms around Excalibur's shaft and made a pouty face, clutching his abdomen. "That was unacceptable, father." He gripped Excalibur and flew towards his father, ignoring the searing pain in his abdomen. He dodged his father's attempts to block Excalibur, and stabbed him straight in the back of the neck. His father coughed, blood exploding from his mouth, But still, he just ripped Excalibur from the back on his neck, and sent it flying, along with the boy that controlled it. Brennan flew for almost a flew minute, too tired to stabilize himself. And when the boy finally did stabilize himself, he simply crumpled to the ground in pain, hoping that his own father wouldn't assault him again. The boy moaned and groaned, trying to get up, but unable to do so.

Brennan twitched on the ground, rolling around in pain. "Gyarh!" He screamed, still twitching non-stop. "P-please, father, please stop." He mumbled, his eyes closed. His father, however, ignored the boy's request, and walked up to the boy, placing his foot on the boy's abdomen. He moved his foot to Brennan's face and slammed it down. A crack echoed through the area, and Brennan screamed even louder. Suddenly, the screaming stopped, and all that was left was Brennan's unconscious body, bleeding uncontrollably from his nose. Excalibur lied next to Brennan, doing nothing, as the boy wasn't conscious in order to tell the spear what to do. The boy's father frowned, dismayed at the weakness of his son, and smashed his foot into the boy's rib cage. A crack filled the area once again, but this time around, there was no scream, so Brennan could not react. The man kicked Brennan's body one, twice, three times, and backed up a bit, waiting for the boy to awaken.

In a mere matter of minutes, Excalibur began to float again, and Brennan clutched the spear, forcing himself up, and ignoring the pain. "W-why, father?" He asked hoarsely, coughing up blood. Brennan began to float slightly and hugged Excalibur, his eyes filled with tears. 'W-why, daddy?" He asked sadly, rolling around in the air with his spear. His father, however, did not reply. The man simply dashed towards the floating boy and pounded him into the ground, where he rested for less than a second, before getting up and floating once again. "I am done playing games, father!" He growled, flying towards his father. "Hummingbird!" He screamed, and the spear flew out of his hand, dashing around in the air erratically, hitting Albert many a times. Brennan counted six, but it could very well have been more.

Brennan's father moaned and groaned as he was pelted with Excalibur, the seemingly immortal man actually being inflicted with pain for once in his life. Brennan smiled as Excalibur flew back into his hand. "That is what you get, father." He screamed, flying towards the injured man and ramming into him with the butt of Excalibur. The man coughed up blood, and groaned, staring at his son, blind rage filling his eye. "I... Will... Kill... You... Child!" He screamed,  smashing his fist into Excalibur's shaft. The spear, however, stayed completely intact, not even bent by the man's fist. Brennan smiled, ignoring the searing pain all throughout his body, hellbent on severely injuring his own father, his own kin. "On the contrary, father." He said, smiling, "It is I who will kill you." His father growled, leaping towards the boy, who had finally regained his stamina and sidestepped. The boy's father growled once again, leaping towards his son.

Brennan once again sidestepped, "Nice try, father." He said with a slight smile, "It is going to take more than that to kill me, and we both know that, old man." The silver-haired male growled and attempted to tornado kick his child's face. Brennan grabbed his father's foot and despite his small build, the child sent his father hurtling far. Albert lacked the ability to fly, so he simply hurtled through the air until gravity brought him down to the ground. Once the man hit the ground, he created a gigantic crater, but got up, totally unscathed. "Nice try, child." He said with a smile, "But it's gonna take more than that to kill your old man." Brennan frowned, his ribs almost healed by now. As far as Brennan was aware, his father's regenerative factor was even greater than his, so it was going to take one sure blow to kill the man, and it had to be one blow. But Brennan knew he could do this, he had to escape the wrath of his father.

Brennan grabbed Excalibur and ran towards his father, who was still recovering from the previous blow. Brennan took this chance and swung Excalibur, where the spear struck his father's left shoulder. His was a horrible cracking sound, and the man screamed in pain, clutching his left shoulder. Brennan smiled, and rather unfortunately, his father did as well. Albert chuckled and there was a pop as his shoulder snapped back into place. The man smiled and Brennan furrowed his brows, his strike hadn't been lethal enough to kill his father. He would have to go for the man's neck, alas, perhaps he would have to decapitate him. "Child." He father snarled, "You are not nearly strong enough to hurt me." Brennan smiled, "You wish, old man." He flew into the air and Excalibur, spinning around and around, flying towards his father's stomach.  his father's stomach, "I know I have to go for his neck..." He muttered to himself, "But I am going to give this one last shot."

The boy and his spear flew towards the man, who didn't even flinch. "Go ahead, son." He said, smiling, "You can't kill me." As Excalibur and Brennan flew towards Albert, Brennan jumped up from the spear, flying behind his father as it drilled through the man's chest. A gaping hole was left in the man as the spear flew out from him, whereupon Brennan landed on it. The man turned around and smiled, "Nice try." He said, as the hole healed, almost instantaneously. This was impossible, If that wouldn't kill the man, there was no way Brennan would be able to kill him. He sighed, he had to kill his father, the man would never leave him alone if he didn't. Alas, some things just had to be done, no matter how much you didn't want to do them.

Brennan closed his eyes, it was time to do this, he had to kill his father, before he could hurt anyone else that Brennan cared about. "It's time for you to die, father." Brennan said, his voice cold and fearless."Excalibur." Brennan said, waving his wrist, and suddenly, Excalibur started to rotate at lightning speeds, and disappeared, being replaced with several dozen small dagger-like kunai. Brennan grinned, the people he cared about would be safe, finally. With a simple flick of his wrist, the kunai that had been simply floating near Brennan flew towards Albert, stabbing him over and over, each kunai penetrating the man's body. Brennan smiled, that had to have done it, but still, he had to be safe, and the kunai kept penetrating his father relentlessly. "Please tell me he's dead..." Brennan said, pacing towards the crumpled up body. But when he arrived, all the wounds were gone, every single one of them. Brennan screamed, "Why won't you just die, you stupid, horrible bastard?!" But Albert simply got up and snickered, "Nice try." Brennan screamed, and the kunai flew towards his father once again, penetrating the man, as they had before. But Albert simply stood up and grinned broadly, "I can't die." His father said simply, "Now, who should I kill first, you, or those you care about?" Brennan screamed, "Everyone can die, and you will! Just you watch!"

Albert chuckled, "Ever heard of the Fountain of Eternal Youth?" He grinned broadly, "Well guess what? I drank it. Every last drop." He licked his lips and smiled, "Now, then. Who's gonna die?" Brennan's eyes narrowed, the fountain of youth would explain everything, including his father's extreme regenerative capabilities. The kunai that made up Excalibur reconstituted into the spear form, and Brennan gripped it, considering his choices, should he run, or should he fight?

Albert ran towards Brennan at unfathomable speeds, and smashed his fist straight into the boy's stomach. Brennan was unable to block this punch, and with a crack, the boy whizzed through the air, smashing into a nearby wall. The force of the boy created a large crater in the wall, and Excalibur jammed into the wall next to Brennan. The boy slowly picked himself up and clutched Excalibur, floating in the air, doing nothing. Any other boy would have been surprised if their father had hurt them like that, but Brennan fully expected it, he knew his own father. He fell to the ground, and picked himself up, using Excalibur as a makeshift crutch, "I hate you father, but I must be going." The boy said, flying away as fast as he possibly could. Albert chuckled, and ran, easily keeping pace with the flying boy. Brennan screamed, "Why won't you leave me alone?!" Excalibur pierced the man, but he remained unfazed, still running after Brennan. "The answer to that is simple." Albert said, licking his lips, "You, and everyone who has ever known you, must die." Brennan breathed heavily, now that he found out his father was immortal, there was nothing he could do. He was going to die, and so would all those he cared about.

No. No, no, no. He was going to win. He couldn't kill his father, but there had to be something he could do, he couldn't think of anything, but there had to be something. Brennan stopped running, he couldn't run, he had to fight his father. "Excalibur." He said, flicking his wrists, causing Excalibur to split into many kunai, once again. The kunai once again whizzed towards Albert, slashing him and piercing him over and over again, not stopping. this wouldn't kill his father, but it would keep him busy.

It didn't cease. Kunai flying through Brennan's father over again over again without ever even pausing. Even being 'immortal', Albert couldn't do anything as the kunai, he just stood there, taking the brunt of the attacks. Brennan needed to run, but if the kunai stopped hitting Albert, the man would just attack Brennan again. Brennan frowned, hopefully his father would take some time to heal, and Brennan would at least get a head start. The kunai reformed into a spear, and Brennan flew away from his father at the fastest speed he possibly could. He flew, and flew, and flew, he couldn't stop, he wouldn't stop.

But it didn't matter how fast Brennan was flying, soon enough, Albert caught up to the young boy. "Nice try, son." Albert said, licking his lips, "But it doesn't matter what you do. I will always find you, and you will die." The man licked his lips once again, as if there was some sort of salt on his lips that just wouldn't go away. Brennan frowned, "I won't let you hurt my friends, father!" Brennan yelled, and suddenly, Excalibur hurtled into his father chest. But the man just chuckled and pulled the spear out of his chest, throwing it at Brennan, who stopped it in mid-air. Brennan frowned, and once again flew at top speed away from his father, who easily kept pace with the young boy. "Tsk, tsk." Albert said, licking his lips yet another time. Did that man ever stop licking his lips? How was ever Brennan going to escape this man? Why did it even cross his mind to talk to the man? Why did he talk to the man? Why had he worried so much about this change in his physical form? Yes, it was abnormal, but so was the ability to slay Gods.

Brennan was soon snapped out of this state of thinking as his father's fist connected with his chest and sent the boy flying. Brennan flew back and smashed into a nearby energy crystal. He groaned as he stood back up and began to float, calling Excalibur towards him. Brennan clutched the spear and stared at his father, who licked his lips, again. Albert's fist was suddenly enveloped in a black, corrupt energy, as were his feet. The corruption on his feet blasted the man up into the air, where he flew towards Brennan, his fist outstretched. "This," He said to Brennan as he flew, "Is my true power." He licked his lips and snarled. Brennan furrowed his brow and flew out of the way, but his father simply redirected himself, and smashed his fist, still enveloped in corrupt energy, into the boy's chest. Brennan screamed, then he fell to the ground, groaning and blacking out.

When Brennan awoke, Excalibur was nowhere to be found, and he was chained to a cement wall. His father walked into the room, which could be better described as a dungeon. "Well, well." He said, licking his lips yet another time. "Look who finally woke up." Albert twirled a dagger around his hand expertly, and that was when Brennan realized that both his Ancient Blades and A.I.R.C. were gone. "Where did you put A.I.R.C.?" He screamed, enraged at his father. Albert just chuckled, "A.I.R.C. has been... taken care of. Don't worry, it's not 'dead', as you would say. Just... incapacitated." Brennan's eyes blazed with anger, and finally, his golden eye, which had turned brown, awoke, and started to glow. There was so much magic within Brennan's father, Brennan could sense Telekinesis, Shadow Magic, and Shadow Combat Magic within his father. It was no wonder Brennan couldn't beat the man, he was way above Brennan's level. At this point, Brennan was done for, and all he could do was hope, hope that his father wouldn't kill him, yet.

Brennan screamed, but his father simply walked up to the boy and put duct tape over his mouth. The man stopped twirling the dagger around his fingers and a smiled cruelly, Brennan was done for. Albert put the dagger up to Brennan's left arm, and applied pressure. The knife, sharp as it was, cut into Brennan's skin easily. Albert withdrew his knife from the boy's skin and watched him bleed. However, Albert was an ignorant man, and forgot of his own son's healing factor. Only minutes after the boy started bleeding, the wound closed, leaving no trace of ever existing. Albert growled, overtaken with anger, and pressed the dagger into his son's arm once again, this time pressing even harder. Brennan tried to scream, but he couldn't, his mouth was sealed shut. Albert laughed diabolically and pressed harder, only making his son flail even more.

Albert removed the knife once again, and sat down, watching his son bleed. Brennan tried his best to ignore the pain, examining his surroundings. He turned his left and noticed a crack in the wall, where earth was breaking through the cement. Earth. This was perfect. Brennan knew he would be able to use the earth to break out. Under the duct tape, Brennan smiled slyly, and the crack in the cement expanded as earth broke through. The crack quickly grew to about a foot, and earth flowed through the crack quickly. A hand of earth formed, and ripped the duct tape off of Brennan's mouth. "I still have a few tricks up my sleeve, father." he said with a sly smile as the earth ripped apart his chains. The earth swarmed around his father as Brennan quickly ran upstairs, looking for A.I.R.C. and his weapons. Albert's cottage was rather big, much bigger than small one room cottage Brennan had been to. This had to be another place, it couldn't be the same cottage.

Brennan ran around the cottage, searching for any signs of A.I.R.C. and his weapons. He knew it was just a matter of time until his father found him, so he had to move fast. He barged into a room, and there sat Excalibur. He flicked his wrist, and the spear started to follow him. The small framed boy dashed out of the room and burst into another one. A.I.R.C.. He grabbed the unconscious pink robot and dashed out of that room, bursting into another one. The Ancient Blade of Light was in that room, what was with his father and hiding everything in a different room? He slung his Ancient Blade of Light over one shoulder and dashed into another room. Nothing. He burst out of that room and into another. There it was. The Ancient Blade of Darkness. He slung that one over his other shoulder and ran out of the cottage as quickly as possible for a boy with such a small frame.

When he burst out of the cottage, he found himself on the surface of Kyoka. This was good, his father had kept him on the same planet, and knowing where he was was a step up from being locked in a dungeon, that was for sure. Brennan started floating, and flew away from the cottage, as fast as he possibly could, his pants, which were at least 5 sizes too big, only being held up by the boy's small hand. At this point, A.I.R.C. had rebooted, and was standing on Brennan's back, clearly stunned that the small, flail boy was the same person it's master had once been. "Master Brennan...?" It asked, "Is that you?" Brennan grimaced as he flew, "Yes, A.I.R.C., it's me." He frowned, "A lot has happened, hasn't it?" He shook his head and sighed, all he knew was that he had to escape his father.

There it was. The Wakusei Portal. It was Brennan's ticket back to Earthland, it was his ticket to escaping his father. Brennan hurtled into the Wakusei Portal, and after a few seconds of space-time distortion, which frankly made Brennan feel like is intestines were located in his brain, Brennan popped out on the other side. Earthland, finally. Brennan stood up and picked up A.I.R.C., placing the small pink robot on it's shoulder, "Dizzy!" It whined, clutching Brennan's brown hair. Brennan looked around, where was he? After looking around, he was sure that he was at the Rose Garden, everything here was full of magic, this would be the perfect place to hide from his father.

Brennan paced around the Rose Garden, trying his best to blend in, considering his clothes were falling off, and the fact that he looked like he was nine years old. Everyone that Brennan passed stared at him, they were all confused as to why there was a lone nine year old in the Rose Garden. Iku's Inn. Finally, somewhere that Brennan could stay, somewhere that he would be able to successfully hide from his psychotic father. Brennan slowly paced inside, easily opening the wooden door that would be much too heavy for a normal young child. A bell chimed as the seemingly young boy walked inside, and a blonde woman, one who seemed about thirty years old, turned her head and looked at Brennan, "Hey there sweety," She said, her voice sweet as honey, "Did you get separated from your parents?" It was upon finishing this statement that she noticed the floating spear, the robot, and the swords slung over Brennan's shoulder. "Something tells me you are not as young as you look." This time around, her phrase was missing the air of sweetness that had been present before.

"You got me." Brennan said, raising his hands into the air, "I am not nine years old." He paused for a second, "Nevertheless, you got a room for me?" The blonde woman stared at him, "Why do you need a room? You a fugitive?" Brennan paused for a second, trying to think of how to word his next phrase, "I am a fugitive, but not from the law." The lady raised her eyebrows, "What do you mean?" Brennan frowned, "Let's just say me and my father do not have the... best relationship." The lady didn't answer for a moment as she jotted something down in a notebook, "Alright. Third floor, fourth room. The amount you owe me is calculated on the day you leave." He tossed him a key and he caught it. Brennan nodded, "Thank you very much." He walked up to the staircase and started to walk up, soon arriving at the third floor. After walking down the hallway for a few seconds, he found a number 4 carved into a door.

Brennan inserted the key in the slot, and turned it, before withdrawing the key. He then grasped the cool metal doorknob and pushed the door in, walking into the room and closing the door behind him. He turned around and locked the door, before turning back around and examining the room. It was much bigger than he expected, there was a living room type room, and two doors, one on the east wall and one on the west wall. He first walked up to the door on his left, turning the knob and opening the door, a large room with an archway that led to a hot tub. There was another door that was connected to the hot tub room, which led to a bathroom, a toilet and a sink.

Brennan paced out of the master suite and to the other wall. He turned the cool metal doorknob and pushed the door in. Here there was another bathroom. Decent size, a small shower, a bathtub, and a sink. Brennan walked out and closed the door, walking back into the master suite. He tossed his swords on to the bed, and placed A.I.R.C., who had shut down because it lacked a solar charge, next to them, Excalibur then floated onto the pile of gear at Brennan's command. Brennan then removed his black cloak, tossing it on top of the gear. He slipped off his white T-Shirt, which was still five sizes too big, and threw it on top. He then proceeded to walk into the living room and hop onto the couch. Brennan stared at the ceiling for a few minutes, but quickly fell asleep, as he had been exhausted by the day's events.

Brennan dreamed of torture. He dreamed that his father had found him hiding in the Rose Garden, and had tortured the boy, in the very room that Brennan was sleeping. In Brennan's dream, no, nightmare, the boy barely escaped his father, and ran through the Rose Garden endlessly, never stopping, never remembering that he could fly. Brennan's dream had felt so real like a lucid dream, but he couldn't control anything that happened, it was like no matter what he did, he was doomed to die. Towards the end of Brennan's dream, he had stopped, just to take a break for a few minutes. But in those few minutes, Albert had caught up, he had been found. Brennan was overwhelmed by fear, unaware that he was dreaming, entirely convinced that this had been happening in real life. In his dream, Brennan had been petrified, unable to move, only able to sit there helplessly as his father killed him.

Brennan woke up in a cold sweat, not quite screaming, but panting heavily. Brennan wiped the sweat off of his forehead and got up, scoping the room for any intruders. Brennan walked back into the master suite and slipped on his T-Shirt, buttoning up his cloak over the shirt and pants. He slung one sword over each shoulder and slipped his cane into a loop on his belt. He knocked on A.I.R.C.'s cold metal shell and the little pink drone chirped, "Hello master! Where are we?" Its eyes flickered around the unfamiliar scene as it heard Brennan's response,"We're at an inn. Hiding from him." A.I.R.C. shuddered as much as a small robot can, and Brennan nodded in response, placing the small pink robot on his shoulder. "We cannot stay in the same place for too long." He said coolly, "We have to get going." A.I.R.C. chirped in agreement, and Brennan paced out of the room slowly, flicking his wrist so Excalibur would follow him, locking the door behind him.

He took the stairs down to the first floor and threw the key at the blonde woman, along with a small bag of Jewels. "That should cover it." He said, walking out of the inn, to be greeted with the magic filled streets of the Rose Garden, which never ceased to impress Brennan. He walked through the streets, searching for another place to stay, preferably somewhere where his father wouldn't guess he would stay. As Brennan walked, the mages exhibiting their magic in the streets called out to him, wanting his money. But he knew most of them would just pickpocket him, so he steered clear of the mages and just searched for an inn, or some other type of place where he would be able to stay without arousing suspicion.

The slums. That was it! Brennan's father would never expect to find him there, for reasons unknown to Brennan, the man believed him to be someone that highly valued luxury, for reasons completely unknown to Brennan. So, the boy walked west, it took a while, but eventually, Brennan Skyllon reached a boarded up building, and the mood of the surroundings seemed to have changed, no longer was everyone happy, and, quite frankly, drunk, here, people were serious, intent only on one thing. Survival. Brennan hoped that he didn't stand out too much in the slums, with all of his fancy gear, and a highly technologically advanced pink robot-type thing. Brennan approached the nearest homeless person, who was sitting on the ground, and waved, hoping to find an outfit that would fit him."'Ey there, fella." He said, ""Y'know where a man might find some clothin' fer himself?" For a few seconds, the man just stared at Brennan, trying to decide whether or not he had enough money.

Once the man decided that Brennan was rich enough, he stood up, "This way, friend." The man said, his voice rough. He paced into a building, which, just like all the others, was falling to pieces, and Brennan followed him reluctantly, hoping he wasn't falling into a trap.

Once man walked inside, Brennan saw a multitude of outfits, each one unique, each one delicately crafted. "H much'll one of these cost me, friend?" Brennan asked with a smile, and the man responded, his voice just as rough as the last time around. "10,000 Jewels apiece, partner." Brennan grimaced, that was pretty damn expensive, but these were some pretty good clothes. After a moment of consideration, Brennan nodded, "I'll take one." He smiled, and slipped a bag of jewels out of his large pocket, tossing it to the man.

The man smiled, revealing rotted, brown teeth, along with one single golden tooth, his top left incisor. "Well now, my dear friend, take any outfit you want! Any outfit you want, dear ol' friend!" Brennan smiled, his white teeth directly contrasting the rotting brown teeth of the man. Everything here was intricate, delicate, and stunningly beautiful. Brown found a red outfit that would probably fit him, but it was too tight for his taste, so he kept searching. He also found a nice black and white outfit, but he kept searching anyway, looking for something that would look absolutely perfect on his now incredibly frail and thin frame. A tan outfit, no, it was a little to bland in Brennan's opinion. A golden yellow polo shirt and dress pants of the same color, along with a white blazer, no, too fancy for Brennan's needs. The next outfit Brennan found was stellar, no, it was beyond stellar, it was perfect, it was exactly what he needed. It was a hoodie with navy blue sleeves, a yellow hood and a yellow strip going along with the buttons, and a turquoise midsection. The hoodie came along with navy blue pants and turquoise shoes, with yellow outfits. "I'll take this one." Brennan said, smiling broadly, hugging the outfit. The man nodded, and pointed to a small room, "You can change there, friend." Brennan nodded thankfully and walked into the room, clutching the outfit tightly.

He unbuttoned his cloak, and as it fell to the ground, Brennan slipped off his over sized T-Shirt and his jeans, without even having to unbutton the jeans. Brennan slipped on the navy blue pants, and buttoned up the hoodie, extremely satisfied with how he looked. He walked out of the room, "Thank you." The man simply nodded in response, and uttered no words.

Brennan paced out of the abandoned building, his new clothing fitting onto the boy's body much more snugly. He paced around the slums, unsure whether he would fit in here, perhaps it would be best to get back to the richer part of the Rose Garden. "A.I.R.C.," Brennan said, "Can you search for inns in downtown Rose Garden?" A.I.R.C. chirped in compliance, and soon, a blue screen flew in front of Brennan's face. There five inns in the area, one of which was the inn that he had already stayed at, so really, there were only four inns. Brennan walked for a while, in order to get out of the slums, but he hadn't even been walking for 10 minutes before he was assaulted by a man with crazy blonde hair. "Money." He said, his voice crazy, "Give me all of your money. Child." He said with a twisted grin, "Or I swear, I'll kill you. I will. I will. I will." He laughed crazily and Brennan frowned, how did this man plan to assault him? He was fully armed, while this man seemed to be utterly lacking in weaponry. He had to have some plan, no one would assault someone who was fully armed without some weaponry themselves, not even someone as crazy as this man.

Brennan shook his head, "I need my money, man. I'm sorry, real sorry." The man screamed, and he started to transform, his skin ripping apart and blood pouring from every inch of his body. "You didn't give me your money! Now. I. Kill. You." His body, which was now lacking any skin whatsoever, rippled and pulsed. Normally, Brennan would've run, but Brennan found himself petrified in terror. Then, the man's muscles started to transform somehow. Was this some form of Takeover Magic? It had to be, there was no other explanation.

The man's muscles continued to spasm and pulse, somehow turning a sickly green color, and... hardening? The man's entire body was now covered in a green body armor, and he started to grow, becoming twice Brennan's size, three times his size, four times his size. The man just wouldn't stop growing. When he grew to approximately 5 times Brennan's size, fifteen feet, he began to transform in a different way. His face, which was still moderately human, began shifting, the man grew a snout, and his eyes narrowed, shifting to his sides. Then, the creature screamed, and scaly green wings exploded from it's back, growing and growing, until they were even bigger than then creature itself. "I... kill...you..." I muttered, no longer human at all. Brennan grimaced, and Excalibur floated in front of him, he didn't want to have to kill a man, but this, this was no longer a man, it was a thing.

Excalibur remained perfectly still, doing nothing so long as Brennan didn't command it. Then, Brennan flicked his wrist, "Hummingbird." Excalibur suddenly started to spin around erratically, becoming a blur in the air. The giant creature was not fast at all, so it was unable to block Excalibur, however, the spear simply bounced off the creature's scales. Brennan grimaced, "What to do, what to do?" He snapped his fingers, "Multiply." He had come up with the name on the spot, but it sounded rather good to him. So, Excalibur began to spin, and suddenly, thousands of kunai took its place. The kunai jetted at the created, but none of them seemed to be able to pierce its scale, they just bounced off, one after another. But they did not stop, they kept bouncing off the scales, and, unbeknownst to Brennan, they each kunai weakened the scales ever so slightly, eventually, the kunai would deal some damage.

Bouncing, that's all the kunai were doing. One after another, they bounced off, only to fly towards the scaled creature once again. Brennan grimaced, there was absolutely no way this thing was that tough, his kunai would have to break through somehow. But before the kunai could break through the scales, they glowed, reforming into the Excalibur Spear. "Dammit." Brennan cursed to himself, unsheathing his swords, and running towards the creature. Both of his swords smashed into the green scales, and they broke surprisingly easily, thanks to being worn down by the kunai. The creature hissed, and swiped it' hands towards Brennan, who, unable to block, took the full brunt of the blow, smashing into the nearest building, his swords clattering onto the floor, along with A.I.R.C.. Brennan cursed under his breath and unsheathed his cane, which blossomed into an umbrella. Flew flew towards the creature, a cloud unsheathing a flurry of lightning onto it.

The creature hissed, and collapsed onto the ground, spasms once again lurching throughout its body. The green scales faded away, replaced with skin, and the man shrank, standing up. The only article of clothing on him were a pair of boxer shorts, but the man didn't seem to realize this. "I still need your money." He hissed, "I. Need. All. Of. It." Brennan sighed, "I cannot give it to you. I am sorry." The man screamed loudly, but Brennan simply punched him in the face, knocking him unconscious. The boy sighed and retrieved his swords and A.I.R.C. who was still groaning. "Owie..." It said as Brennan placed it on his shoulder. Brennan re-sheathed his swords and began to walk towards downtown Rose Garden once again. This had been an unnecessary hassle, and Brennan hoped he hadn't attracted too much attention. If he had, it would make it that much easier for his father to find him.
