Personality:

Ray seems to have gone out of his way to come off as mild-mannered, sweet, and nice as possible. In Joya, he's all but invisible in his daily life, and other than a vague impression of a well-mannered, very helpful man with a quiet smile and gorgeous produce, herbs, and tea leaves, not much further thought is needed or wanted. He comes and goes like a gentle breeze. Even his style of dress defies attention as humble farmer's garb consisting of button-ups, suspenders, crop pants, and boots. He has only a few close friends in town, though it's debatable if they know him very well at all. There is only perhaps one person outside of his family that knows what he'd been up to in the decade he left Joya to go on an epic adventure. All they know is the man loves to fish and can be found at the edge of a river or lake when he's not tending to crops and livestock. Other than his trips in to sell things at the market, Ray's only reason for stepping foot in Felidae as often as he did was the local tea shop that was his favorite "social" hangout.

This mild-mannered sweetheart recently went through a startling change, however. After the destruction of Felidae, he assumed a pro-active leadership role in avenging his people without any hesitation. Handing off the care of his farm to a friend, Raynelle has vowed to avenge Felidae and the Joyan people in general for this egregious violation and a war crime, and though he's ashamed of what he plans to do to those he finds responsible, he will not bat an eye when he draws on the skills required to try and get the job done. He is not lost to madness, though. Anger drives him, but much of the farmer remains, though leaving on yet another adventure has drawn out his more energetic and interesting qualities. He has a cool, analytical head going into this new chapter and will try to remain peaceful when he can, though he accepts that it won't always be this way. Ray must maintain control of himself, no matter what. Not even a war can get between him and his fishing, though.
