Job Requirements: 25000words total. must roll 10 times unless you make 30 posts. Boss may be spawned after all rolls are made
Job Location: (your choice, so long as it is a town with people)
Job Description: By making it this far in life as a mage with little respect for the law, your name has been passed around more than once to those who hire your kind. It just so happens your name has been pulled for the upcoming job. Be it a political figure, a simple revenge, or possibly for money. The story is always up to you, but there is always one thing that is completely similar no matter the job. This requires an assassination. Who? Thats up to the one that hires you(npc). It is best recommended that you do not take this job lightly, as your target is always well prepared, body guards or they may even be some veteran mage. Truth be told, imagination is the limit, but your job is a dark one. Someone wants someone dead, and that someone that is hiring you is not a good guy. Your target most likely has a bounty on their head too. However everyone at this level would have guards, you may want to deal with them, while snooping around to get ready to kill the target.
Enemies: If you so decide to run with weak-strong that is entirely up to you, and should be stated at the first post. The boss may be brought forth at any time after 30 posts have been made or you roll 10 times, so there is a way to do this with only the boss fight. Good luck
Weak: Typical mages/body guards/good guys; They're all B-rank in power but they have 5 of them per roll. These would be the eyes and ears of the town, and if you're causing a lotta ruckas, asking too many questions, or being too nosy, these guys typically show up. They're the hired muscle that do not directly work with the target, but are typically street thugs that're hired.
Normal: The men and women that hold some sort of small string to the target. They're the waiters/waitresses/bouncers/receptionists/ect... they're the ones that have some small intel on the target, and work in the target's stores/resturaunts/ect... or if the target is of some gang, they're the ones commanding the weak rolls. They typically have 3 of these per roll, and they're always A-rank, and packing heat(some form of concealed weapon) almost all the time, as well as a few nasty tricks, not to mention a few from the weak roll(1-4 your choice) may show up.
Strong: These are the managers, the big shots, the second in commands, the ones that call shots, and they're the ones that do the main hiring. They're only bested by the boss him/her self, and they are no easy task either. They're S-rank easily, and will typically have 2-3 members from the normal roll on call, able to bring them in with ease.
Boss: Finally, you've reached the target, but have they noticed you trailing them? killing their guards/hired hands/workers? Roll a hit dice, if hit, then they noticed, if not then congrats. You managed to do your job so well, they're unprotected. However, if it rolled a 'hit' then when you finally spawn the boss (or roll the boss), shit will hit the fan. They have a couple guards. Roll the dice twice to see what they brought with. Just remember, the boss? Yeah... he/she would be S-rank in power, but good luck, they have a fair deal of skill themselves.

KABOOM. CRASH. SMACk. WALOOP. An intense battle was ensuing. A devilishly handsome extraterrestrial was in the midst of fighting a group of giant corn creatures that had come to reinforce the living apple ranks. It was a bloody battlefield, mostly all the innocent bystander corn crops had been turned into meal or corn bread; it was not a pretty sight. Chunks of apple were thrown everywhere, juice flung out of the cores in prepackaged bottles; it was a massacre for the ages. However, like all good things, this particular dream came to an end with a splash of ungodly cold water to the face.
Once his eyes opened, Jaeger would peer up and see the vague outline of a child, a street urchin. In his hands was an old fashioned bucket, woodena and bound by iron rivets and plating. Likely something from the nearby docks as the mage was napping next to a bush. Groggily, the blonde man spoke up.
“Oi! What was that for? I was in the middle of a wa-”
The child held out a letter that had been pulled out from behind him., likely held by the urchins waist band as he splashed the dock worker with the briny water of the sea.
“Delivery.”
Jaeger snatched the parcel from the child, to which immediately ran off once the letter was out of his hands. The mage couldn't even grumpily argue and retort to the young in’.
“Kids these days, no respect for their elders. Back in my day, you had to sit there and listen to the old farts rant about nonsense.”
With that remark only a true dinosaur would say, blondie opened the parchment and read its contents.
“Dear Contact,
I know who you are, but don't worry; this isn't a letter of extortion. In fact, this is a job opportunity for you and another. I am a rather known underground lord of Fiore, I am in various businesses and trade, but there is one thing I do not stand for, Poaching. There is an infamous poacher moving out for a hunt of a rare species of bird in the forests south of the Phoenix Mountain and west of Morgate Town. Now I’ve pinpointed him to the nearby Mountain Village as he prepares and it’ll take a few days for him to ready his hunting party. You are to take out this poacher and his friends for good.
Now I have sent a similar letter off to another and you’ll need to meet up with them and complete this job together. Meet in the Old Pepper Tavern and you’ll find one of my contacts with further details on the target.

The mage just laid there for a moment, adjusting to what would need to be done for this job.
“Poachers, huh? Well, that’s all I need to know. Nava, get up ya lazy bum! We got some fun to make.”
From the other side of the bush arose a very large, fiery furred Red Panda. Some may wonder how the massive critter had been able to hide behind such a small bush, well the answer was all too real. He dug a trench, that’s it. If one were to lean over the shrubbery and investigate, they’d notice a ditch in the ground and a mound of dirt pushed to the side. As Nava stood up, it stretched and yawned.
“Come on, let’s go get a boat out to Hargeon. We’re gonna go get us some filthy poachers.”
Nava merely scratched his furry head and followed the mage out to a ship. From there, the dou sailed out for the Port Town of Hargeon. Nothing really exciting happened over the ride, they had just used the time to continue their nap until the vessel arrived at the destination. The weather surrounding the mainland of Fiore was rather nice, for a mid winter day. The sun was high in the sky, beaming and bouncing off the snow fall that blanketed the town.
Hoping off the boat, Jaeger and Nava made their way to the local train station; hoping to hop a board and at least get taken half way to their destination, which would have been the stop in Era. From there, the two would need to hike it all the way from Era to this Mountain village. After hours of travel, they arrived and looked around town to find this Old Pepper Tavern. The wandering took about an hour, but eventually they two discovered the palace of booziness. The mage was atop of the giant red panda as they entered and had enough of a cover to switch and morph into his horned, raven haired alter ego. From atop his fur covered throne, he gazed to look for this contact and his supposed partner.

It hadn't been so long since Lethe had joined the guild, but she found herself growing tired of racking her brain about messing with the past with her being there from the future. She stretched as she slipped on a white spaghetti strapped shirt and on a pair of jean short shorts that just covered her butt well enough. A knock came at her dorm door and she cautiously opened it to spy the reason. Someone had a letter for her. With a soft smile, she accepted it before closing the door again. Closing the door, she read over the contents of the letter. "Huh…? Well then. How did someone get hold of my information…?" She mutters to herself while tapping her chin. Might of been one of the festivals she went to before. That's what she bet. "Guess I'm going to Mountain Village." She made a mental note to get herself a new iLac as hers was both too advanced, and too broken, to be used here…
Using letters was so primitive here! She missed her music and lactop and lacbox and dotLac echo. The future was better and more advanced than this slow place. The only bright side to this hell of a place is she found her previous guild and it looked the same as before too! The other bright side was Mathis. The delicious unaging man she had the pleasure to work with. That's all she could do though! No more with the man. She… couldn't…
Stuffing her letter in her back pocket, she quickly slipped on a pair of knee high gladiator sandals and made her way out of the ship to the village. She had determined the best way for her to travel would be her favorite way. Jumping off the edge of S.S. Endeavor, Lethe had shifted herself to that of a metallic dragon. She was sleek enough that she is able to fly through the sky at incredible speeds. It took less than an hour for the woman to make her way towards the Phoenix Mountain. She let herself land a distance from the village and had her legs take her the rest of the way there.
‘Clearly you’re feeling better about being here. You’re back to running and enjoying yourself again.’ Veles chortled to her. Lethe simply smiled. “It’s not stifling here.” She said aloud as a response, and a remark to herself. She got to thank her fathers were blood for her ability to run fast, and both of her parents metallic abilities from their dragons as well. She made it to the Mountain Village while nary breaking a sweat. The Old Pepper Tavern was easy to spot. It was where the alcohol was…
A groan came from the black haired woman, and she trailed inside slowly. She ignored the whistles that came her way as her hips swayed, but it didn’t matter. She was used to attention on her, till they realized her height and was looking at her in a different way. She sat herself down and ordered herself a water. It had been a while and some people had come in, cheering and enjoying themselves with the alcohol. She hated the smell of it. It reminded her of home. Next time, she’s requesting meeting at a library. Eventually, a man with black hair entered the tavern with a red panda? She blinked as a familiar scent wafted off of him. He had been in contact with her mother before she had come to this time. Standing up, she pulled out her letter. Could he be her partner for this?
“Haha… fuck…” She grumbles as she covers her face with one hand. She needed to focus. “Hey!” She shouts rather loudly, getting the attention of the bar. “Any of you boozers here wanting a couple mages to do a bird job?” She held up her letter as proof of the job. If that guy that just came in would say he was one here for the job, she would have to internally cry.
Another person seemed to stand up and smiled to her. “I am whom you’re to be meeting!” They say rather cheerfully. Lethe frowns but nods as she makes her way over to the table they were at. She didn’t care if she had just been loud here, completely ignoring the fact that the tavern was a bit quiet from her outburst. They were gradually going back to their happy roar again though after she sat down in a chair across from the person.

The foul stench of a meat suit wafting passed the nostrils of the Great Red Panda Rider. Scent floating around the entryway top the bar, stinking up the joint. It was familiar, but not the same as the previous occasions that he’d get. Adalinda, the most terrible, yet attractive, meat suit of them all. One who saw fit to take a club of iron and attempt to play golf with the jewels of a dead alien. But no, this scent was off and mutated. She stood up from her seat screaming about boozers having a job, his eyes narrowed as he too was in search of a job from these alcoholics. The resemblance was too uncanny to ignore. Not only was her aroma the same, her physical form was as well.
This raven haired meat suit was taller though, and seemingly younger. The frame was close but, as Jaeger's eyes scanned with suspicion, he could only gather that this new suit was a new model, an upgrade from the previous….. aside from the increase in height. The mage ducked down and hid most of his body in the fur of his companion, waiting to see which ale addicted fellow was the one that put the hit out on the poachers. His eyes shifting back and forth through the breaks in Nava’s fur, but they peered out nonetheless.
Moments later, a rather rotund mountaineer stood up and shouted. This man seemed like an average joe, but his clothing also spoke to a more refined taste. Given the letter he had and the information within, is this guy really some underground lord’s contact? Either way, the female swayed over to the man and sat down across from him. DEspite all the oddities, the mage whispered to his fluffy buddy, “Follow the weird meat suit.” Nava, being the amazing red panda that he was, began following another customer, one who had entered in behind the two mages. Jaeger tugged on the beast's fur “Not that one, the other!” keeping his voice down.
Nava trotted over to the man and woman and once there, Jaegers head popped up from the fur. His black hair and horns gave him away quite easily while hiding, so it wasn't like he fooled anyone. Keeping his seat upon the beast, he looked down to the two in their wooden, peasant chairs.
“And you must be the other one, Jaeger. Good, you’re both here, care for a drink?”
Jaeger declined with a shake of his head.
“Just get on with it.”
“Ooookay….. So the poacher is on the other side of town. A few hours ago, our sources place this poacher and his team on the other side of the town. They’re about ready to head out after some last minute gear checks. Shouldn’t take you too long to get to him, but this information is a couple hours old. So him and his team might already be on their way to the hunting location.”
The man gave the team the rest of the details, including what the poacher and his team looked like. Most of the men were kind of generic, just insert random bad guy. However, the main poacher was rather extravagantly dressed. Seemed to be some noble or lord out for some fun. He was some blonde haired, short individual. He has an expensive looking hunting rifle, made of some silver and rare wood. He would be easy to spot.
“Got it, come Nava. We hunt the hunters!”
As a duo, Jaeger and Nava shifted to outside the tavern.

As the man on the panda had followed her to the table, Lethe, like she said she would, began mentally screaming at herself because of this man. Her face stayed unamused though. She glanced up to the man, taking a deep breath as she did so. She was glad he didn't come down to them and sit at the table with them, and instead simply asked the man to ‘just get on with it’. The man had informed them of their job and the last known place of these poachers. A couple hours old information, no big deal with her nose. She could find them. She listened as the guy informed of their descriptions, and opened up an archive screen to write the information down. After all the information was gathered, Lethe looked at Jaeger and Nava, as he called the beast, and stood up after they had left the tavern. "Thank you. We'll have the poachers caught." She simply mutters before she follows after the two calmly.
Outside, Lethe was walking with her eyes closed and the tips of her fingers in her shorts pockets. Of course the shorts didn't have big pockets. What women’s wear would have pockets? Only in some fantasy world. She was able to walk calmly without opening her eyes. In reality, she was using her enhanced hearing from her dragon ability, as well as from her were blood to walk blindly. When she knew she was near Jaeger, she clears her throat. "I'm Lethe. You smell like someone I knew once upon a time. Did you know an Adalinda Ortinbras?" She casually asks, eyes finally opening as she looked up at the red panda with a bored expression.
She had a feeling he did know her mother, but she wasn't going to say that she was her mom. Maybe a small lie would be fine? She could say she was a distant relative from far away. Would that work? 'Probably not too well. I feel he was familiar, but it's been a while. He did indeed know your mother. Maybe he was at her old company before it collapsed? She was a bit crazy that somewhat insignificant people I even have forgotten...' Veles voiced his thoughts within the archive slayer's mind. She mentally groaned at the dragon. ‘Jaeger sounds familiar though… give me a little to remember.’ She was starting to lose confidence in her dragon helper inside of her mind. Well… she had a job to do regardless. She’ll squeeze out all the information she can from this guy and see how he was connected to her mother, maybe patch a bit of it up with him too.

SUSPICIOUS. Time to vote this meat suit impostor out of the ship. The new one was attempting to start up some meaningless small talk to pass the time away. What was her agenda? Who was she and why does she stink like the old fart from the West Fiore Trading Company. It was all so…. Dubious. Clearly, this phony won't get anything out of him! Nothing! Zip! Nada! His lips were sealed tighter than a newly filled wine barrel. Though, knowing the name makes it weirder when mixing with the fact she smelled like that fun sucker. Eventually, his curiosity got the better of him and crawled over Nava. Clenching tufts of fur for support, he leaned over and got real, uncomfortably close as they walked. His skin covered, ram like horns nearly headbutting her into oblivion.
“Aye, I knew the bodacious meat suit. She dragged me around and sucked the fun outta everything…. And not even in an embarrassing way. Why? Is it because you smell like her?!?! HMMMMM? Yes, yes. I bet it is you, Adalinda! You can’t fool me!!”
By the end, he was getting fairly accusatory as he took a couple obvious sniffs. As well, he’s gone from incredibly in your face to standing on Nava’s back with a finger pointing down at the woman. The beasts walk was impressively steady, allowing for the disillusioned man to act as he was.
“I have figured you out, you scaly fiend, where is the devil cat?! What are you two planning?”
A small crowd watched the two move, gossiping and cavorting with one another on who these two newcomers were. A squabbling couple? A distressed partnership?! Rivals in a love affair?!!?! The whispers spread like disease. Oh the conjecture. On that note as well, from an outsider's perspective, Jaeger wasn’t tight lipped. He was about as loose as a multi-gendered “party” that lasted for three nights, likely filmed and put on the iLacNetwork. It was around this time that Nava started getting a strong scent of cooked and seasoned leaves wafting in the air. Without Jaegers steady and firm hand of direction, the beast took it upon himself to find the source of this food.
The distance between the man accusing the lass and that lass was growing. Any point he was trying to make was deteriorating by the step. This was not ideal for the raven haired, horned mage. He was really trying to make a point with all this, having his friendly beast wander off during it just takes the piss out of it. With a sigh and continuing his pointed pose, he spoke up to the Red Panda.
“Nava… Nava, please. Do you mind? I'm trying to have a moment here.”
The large animal didnt seem to pay much mind to its companion.
“Come on Bud, we’ll get food soon just swerve back to the meat suit.”
Again, Nava continued onto a building that smelled of freshly done vegetation. Likely, it was some sort of weird salad dish, but the giant's nose was very fine tuned. With another heavy sight, Jaeger looked to the woman that he was partnered with.
“One moment.”
Several minutes passed by, waiting inside the establishment. Smoke poured out of a chimney above, customers come and go and eventually, the two job takers return and catch up to their apparent partner.
“Okay so where were we…. AH YES. IT’S YOU ADALINDA, ISNT IT?! Think you can just disappear and then reappear smelling weird?! I think not!”

As Jaeger leaned over and got close to Lethe, she had managed to stop walking enough to walk in pace with Nava. Lethe gave him a sweet smile, one worthy of a professional office worker, as he did so. She listened to him as he talked about her mother, nearly choking on her breath as he called her ‘bodacious’ though. Who would even think that she was ‘bodacious’ or anything of the sort?! Yes, Lethe might of gotten some of her looks from her mother, but that was just a gross thought… maybe it was because she was her daughter that she thought like so though. She let him go on his little tirade about her being her mother, smirking as she walked. He started talking about ‘devil cat’ too. She blinked as she wondered whom he could be talking about. Was he talking about Tamaria? That was it. He could insult her mother, but Tamaria wasn’t in the books.
She looked over at Jaeger and the red panda as they started traveling a different direction, she actually had been about to respond, but it seemed the panda had a different agenda. She couldn’t blame him. She would too. She stopped briefly to watch them, crossing an arm under her chest as her other hand rested under her chin. She smirked a little as she stood there a distance from the building, waiting for Nava and Jaeger to come back to her.
After they had returned, she put a hand on her hip as she smirked up to him. “Hi, I’m Lethe. A distant relative of Adalinda. I have no ‘devil cat’, or exceed, if that’s what you’re referring to. I probably smell like Adalinda because I’m related to her. She had sent me a thing before that might of had some of your scent on it, I dunno how I know your scent. She ran off though, so that’s how she probably disappeared on you. That’s all I know.” She says with a smooth smile. She made sure she was loud about it too, just to disburse the accusing gossips about her and Jaeger… though she might not mind too much? He wasn’t that bad looking regardless of his crazy mind.
She shifted her weight onto her other leg as she held a hand up to him. “Care to do this job with me? Or are you just gonna be throwing your fingers around like a piss poor compass?” She teased while she stuck her tongue out softly to the man. Hopefully this would soften him up to her. For an added measure, she let a wink while she said; “We do have some nasty people hurting sweet little birdies, I dunno if I can do this all on my own.”
‘You sure that will win him over like that?’ Veles questioned the archive metal slayer as he was listening in to all this. Lethe wanted to shrug, but she didn’t move as she waited on Jaeger. ‘Probably not, but it’s worth a try for now.’

It was all too suspicious; so much so that Jaeger should hold some sort of community meeting to discuss the matter at hand. Once all the evidence was given, then the community would vote this ‘Lethe’ out and drop them into a lava pit! Yes, this was the best recourse of action and clearly no flaws in this plan. It’s not like the community could just vote him out instead, right? Yeah, no way they’d do that. But this Lethe person just seemingly had all the answers. ‘Oh, i'm just related to her’ or ‘She ran away.’ Jaeger was onto this sham of hers. His eyes just squirted and narrows at this clearly lie teller! For now though, he’ll keep his further suspicions on the downlow.
“Lethe, hm? Relative of the meat suit you say? Yes… it uh…. Cheeks out, for now.”
It wasn't hidden well that he was still suspicious of her. There were just too many similarities to hide from her and Adalinda! But it did seem like he was willing to move on from this for the time being and get on with the job. He plumped back down from his standing position and readied to Nava to get moving after his snack time. The man leaned over once again, getting face to face with her. His curvy horns nearly brushing or bashing into her forehead. His black hair draping down and keeping the man from being bald.
“Yes, let us get to this job Lethe. I am Jaeger, man of mystery and intrigue.”
However, unlike last time, his face contorted and mutated. The skin twisted as the normal human feats swirled and vanished into nothingness. Now a large, glowing red eye took shape in the center of his visage. Around it were wrinkles that made slight wiggles and movements, almost like there was a worm wriggling around underneath. The expression of the now present alien features were that of curiosity and intrigue. The bulb twitched and shifted around, looking around at the woman as the head tilted. But before anyone knew it, the face was gone and Jaegers handsome mug was returned to normal and with a smile.
“Onward then, Lethe of the Adalinda Clan. We shall prevail in stopping these terrible men and be the saviors the world needs but probably doesn't deserve!”
The man spouted after jumping back up to stand on his beasts back and pointing towards the other side of town. From the outside, he’s clearly lost his marbles; not even that, but they’ve been lost and scattered around the different realms and likely never to be found again. The metaphorical marbles are likely being used in a game of marbles played by townsfolk of the town Looney bin. Though ,deep down, like reeeeeeeaaaallll deep, he was still crazy but had a decent and crusty heart of an old man.
Looking back for a moment before continuing on,
“Just dont bring the demon cat, she was weird.”
While putting on this front, the back of Jaeger's mind was slowly working on a way to expose Adalinda for the fraud she was perpetrating. All the suited man would need was more time, find the slip up’s this Lethe would undoubtedly make.

Meanwhile, at the gate on the other side of town, a group of men were gathering to head out of the small mountain village. Stocked with all sorts of hunting and poaching gear, the time for their departure was only minutes away.

She kept her gaze even as Jaeger talked to her more. Of course he was suspicious of her. He smelled her mother on her, she wouldn’t not believe her too. She shrugged her shoulders as she smiled. “Trust me, it’ll check out officially.” She watched as Jaeger leaned down to her face again, honestly not budging as he smacked heads with her. This was due to her own metal and dragon abilities to let her head be bonked with ease. “It’s nice to meet you Jaeger. I hope we work w-” She paused a moment as he contorted his face to the alien face before she raised an eyebrow while he looked her over. “I hope we work well together… And don’t call me ‘from the Adalinda Clan’ I don’t need to be lumped with that woman.” She groaned as she pinched her nose.
What did her mother do to this man…?
“I already told you I don’t have an exceed if that’s what you’re talking about when you refer to ‘demon cat’ to me.” She chuckles as she stretches her arms up before putting them behind her head. She thought for a moment, then glanced towards the alien man. “What do you say about us speeding up and trying to catch up with the people we’re to take care of, hmm?” She questions calmly. “The more ground we cover between them, the quicker we may be able to get them.” She shrugs her shoulders before she puts her hands on her hips.
Part of her was thinking he would not let her ride on his red panda with him. That would be the easy thing to do, he did not seem to be an ‘easy’ person to deal with. Didn’t help he was suspicious of her being her own mother, so now she was simply prepared to go out on her own and run. If she were to do that, she would have to tap into her dragon heritage. Two of the few things she thanked her birth giver about.
‘I don’t think your mother messed this one up… I vaguely recall him already being this way in her time… maybe. She herself was a mess as well… so maybe she did.’ The dragon in her mind made Lethe take in a sharp breath as he was no help at all… ‘Oh! I remember a little bit about him! He liked wearing a very thin fabric that your mother tried to punch his lower regions because of, but he had something weird on him. I don’t remember that now. It’s a little fuzzy. But it grossed your mother out.’ ‘I’m still caught up on the fact he called her bodacious, honestly.’ ‘Same, child… same…’ The two shook their heads as Lethe brought herself back to the present.
She softly smiled to Jaeger. Would he let her rid upon the creature with him? She turned her head to see what she could hear around them. Most of what she heard was footsteps. A faint set of them was coming from the forest, and she perked her head up some. “I think I hear them…?” She pointed in the direction the faint hiking stomps were, and raised an eyebrow to Jaeger, a smirk slipping across her face. “How fast can your beautiful creature run?”

She didn’t seem to mind his change of face, even if it was something he couldn't help. This meatsuit was messed up for sure, even more than the last. What sort of meatsuit would be in their right mind to now be freaked out by this? Yes, most definitely more screwed up. Whatever Adalinda has done to herself to become like this has only strengthened her and this cannot stand! A plan must be devised to fully expose this lewd woman and to get her to admit to her wrong doings. Yes, yes, this was the way; but again, this must be pushed back for a time. The obvious man shant let her know what he’s thinking or his plots against her.
“Yes, let us…”
A pause in his speech for dramatic effect, Jaeger did have a knack for the overly dramatic. “Catch up to these poachers, Miss Lethe.”
This one from the Adalinda clan was odd. Why didn't she want to be referred to as such? It was suspicious, only adding further evidence to growing wariness boner. What, did Adalinda also try and slam an iron club into her balls and tentacle?! Was this beguiling meat suit also an extraterrestrial? Pandora should know this. They may have to…. Silence this one. There was only enough room for TWO aliens on Earthland, all others must be taken care of. However, more information was still required… for both the thought of her being Adalinda and then this new theory! It's worth noting that she didn't seem to flinch much at his alter ego taking a look at her as well. It was all suspicious.
Sweetly trying to convince the horned one, the woman smiles and queries into the speed of Nava, a beautiful beast that rules all others! Indeed, he could go quite fast if he wanted, even so much as to carry others on his back while doing so. But the big question is, would he let this provocative woman ride on the back of this giant? That is where she was going with this line of questioning, but should he say yes? Doing so would cover up his speculation of her, which he needs so he can further investigate.
“Yes, he is as swift as a coursing river! Has the strength of a raging fire! Can hit a man with the force of a great typhoon! So hop on and we’ll go squash and vanquish these evil doers!
Nailed it, this will definitely throw her off his scent with a mighty roar of enthusiasm. Others in the area once again look over to all the commotion again with a look of “what the hell is he going on about?” Their faces twisted and distorted, some with an annoyed expression while others just looked offended by the sudden burst. But whenever Lethe climbs aboard the Nava train, they will take off towards the entrance and exit the poachers were to take. The beast is fast, but not for being dexterous or slim, it’s his raw power to dig his claws into the dirt and haul ass, kicking up major amounts of debris as each paw just forces it’s way forward.
“So… Lethe of the non-adalinda clan, Did the meat suit attack you too for wearing swimwear? Is that why you don't want to be lumped in with her?”
A testing question for the woman, but was it really going to tell him anything? Likely not, it was a dumb question and one that wouldnt really give him any hints. However, toward their destination, the poacher and crew were already setting out into the surrounding forests. They began stalking their prey, rare birds of the region, and generally terribleness and soon they’ll be hit by, struck by, smooth criminals. They’ll be hit so hard that they’ll ask Annie if she’s okay, but there is no Annie. Just keep asking after her, but no one answers. Is she okay? Is she okay? Likely feels nothing, given that she’d be some imaginary friend created from getting attacked so ferociously. Just they didn't know it yet, they were now the stalked prey.

Jaeger calling the archive and metal dragon slayer by her name, had her smiling softly to herself. He wouldn’t be too bad at all. When she asked the speed of Nava, and his response was almost like a poem, she giggled a little before she made her way up behind Jaeger. “I’m glad he’s so strong to help us out! All those treats from before were definitely worth it then. Thank you for letting me ride upon him.” She coos as she leans her chest against his back, putting her hands on his hips to hold herself on him. This was more of a precaution of who this man seemed to be. He was wild and unpredictable. If he was going to get his red panda to buck her off, she was going to drag him along with her.
As they were riding towards the forest, Jaeger asked her a question. ‘I was right.’ Veles snorted. Lethe clears her throat as she groans. “No, Adalinda was a bitch and a terrible person. She ignored what I needed and basically was an insufferable person to be around. Always drinking. Always raving about how great she is. Always being a goddamn mess of a person.” She growls the last few sentences. She pinched the bridge of her nose. “I already told you I’m a relative of hers… so basically I don’t want to be lumped into her family. She’s far from family.”
As they get closer to the destination that the poacher group was disbursing from, Lethe starts to slide down from the back of Nava. She sniffed the air. She points towards the west and snickers. “There’s some pests over there.” She mutters as she looks back to Jaeger. “You want to go and play with them? Or me?” She barely had a chill go down her spine. It was one of those chills of excitement. She was ready to go after some rather easy prey. “There are about four or five people in total… snack bites. Shouldn’t be too hard.” She snickers as she sniffs the air again. Slightly north west was some more. She couldn’t be sure what they were, but they felt a little stronger than the others.
A grin was on her face as she glanced over towards Jaeger. “Want to split up?” She of course was going to be a good partner on the job and make sure that they were both on the same page. She cracked her knuckles quietly as she was ready to go fight, waiting on a response.

AH HA! There it was, the proof that this Lethe was… wait. No, her explanation was more that of a child of Adalinda’s, but did the meat suit create another? Hmmm, it was all so weird. Jaeger doesn’t quite remember his former ‘mentor’ being an extra sized meat suit nor ever carrying an extra one around the offices on Tolgalen. The times she had dragged him around on jobs or just around the island flashed before his mind, running through like an old timey film reel. The sepia memories sailing by, but no baby bump or child to be seen! If there was….was.. Was Adalinda ashamed of Jaeger and did not introduce him?! His suspicion has turned to pain as he has hurt himself with a self created scenario in his mind. Life was getting real.
“I-I see. Pain of neglect it is then.
With this, his suspicions have suspended… for the time being. It was best for now to focus on the job ahead. There will likely be time for more of his goofy antis of him trying to prove this woman to be a fraud! Oh how grand the shenanigans will be, easily becoming cult classics for all of time. But again, this train of thought brings him back to the job at hand, catching and ending these poachers, hunts for sport rather than necessity. Lethe was the first pick up on the scent, though the alien didn't exactly have his feelers out to scan the roads ahead quite yet. Despite them both being on the job, the woman asked if they wanted to split upland who would have all the fun. The mage was now suspicious of her once again. Was she trying to get rid of him? Maybe she was one of the poachers as well!
Yes, yes. This was it. This was all a daring ruse to trap Jaeger in the woods. Did she already know his secret? Was he already the exotic prey they sought to capture and experiment on?! It was a clever tactic, luring him out like this. The group of poachers sure did their homework on him. For now though, perhaps they should split up and search for their ‘enemy’ separately.
“Hmmm yes, we could split up to cover more ground. Whoever… uhm finds them first can kick the party off. Nava and I will take the right portion of the area, you take the left. If we don't find anything, we can meet back up in the middle after a while.
Sounds good, Madam Lethe?”

With her agreement, or disapproval, Jaeger was off into western little thicket that resided outside the town. The closer he got to the wooded area, the more he sank and sank into the dirt and stone below, eventually disappearing as Nava solo in and leaped into the tree tops. The prey did have their head start but they’d slow down heavily once they began to track their target. Once separated, he too began using his sniffer to get a scent of foreign objects and meatbags, popping his head out occasionally to get the whiff. After about a minute of taking in what was around him to then sort out what isn't natural, he and the giant red panda were on the trail.

Meanwhile, the hunters were stalking in the woods. Each step they took was slow and calculated. Their backpacks and supplies tide tightly as to not jingle or make a sound. Their main implement to capture or kill the species of bird was in their hands with a strong grip as to not drop it. It was a group of about five, sprawled out as they moved, about 2 or 3 feet between them as they silently tiptoed through. But what gave them away? A musky scent of pheromones that wasn’t exactly native to the natural scents of the forest or at least not in this sort of quantity. It’s almost as if they bathed in liquid bird pheromone to help attract the rare species. Unfortunately, it helped to attract the slayers with heightened senses instead.

The phlox purple orbs of the archive metal dragon slayer had her slightly glaring towards him a bit. Pain of neglect indeed… She pursed her lips and looked away a bit as she had a small pout to her lips. That’s one way to say she was hurt by an absent mother, even though she never claimed her as her mother, she didn’t raise her. She let her focus be taken by the scent quickly though. His response to splitting up had her raise an eyebrow, but she smirked and nodded a little bit. She nods to her partner and slips off of Nava back onto the ground. “Sounds like a plan. And thank you for the ‘Madam Lethe’ name. Can just call me Lethe instead.” She pointed a finger towards him, grinning enough to show her teeth to him.
She started to jog off towards the left, like Jaeger suggested, and was using stealth as she was half crouched while running. Of course she had been trained rather well. Lethe was easily able to smell the foul fools hunting poor birds. The slayer wiggled her fingers and smirked as they turned into metal claws upon her hands. She eyed her prey carefully through the flora of the forest. Not on her watch would these assholes hurt these poor birds. She managed to get herself ahead of them in the bushes before she let herself strike at two of the five from the back, bringing them into the bushes as her claws had swiped at them. There was just enough noise from the poachers that she was noticed though, making her stand up slowly with her clawed hands around the mouths of the poachers she captured, having them face their partners as she did so.
“Hello. Are these two important? I’d suggest releasing any and all birds you possess now, or I make you into bird feed.” She smiled as her purple eyes seemed like they were nearly glowing in the light of the forest. Her fingers curled a bit, scratching at the faces of the fools in her hands. They let up shrieks as her claws dug into their faces. “Are there more buddies of yours myself or my buddy should be on the lookout for? I’d gladly take care of them.” She let her fingers dig even deeper into the two’s faces, red liquid dripping down their chins from the holes the claws were making. She smiles wider, showing her teeth as she leans forward. “You all stink too… I don’t think I want to play much with you all… Jaeger? Are you here?” She calls out in a normal tone of voice. She half hoped he was nearby, else she could potentially spring a trap for the other three.
The two in her arms were trying to wriggle their way free, but the black haired slayer's grip seemed to only get tighter as she hugged them close. “What? Am I not pretty enough for you to stay close to? Shame.” She whips her arms out to yank her claws out of their faces, effectively throwing the two bodies near their commerads. She smiled ever so sweetly again as she held her lovely clawed finger behind her back. “Do any of you have magic? Or am I just being a bully now? I want to see you fight me.” She held a clawed hand up by her side, wiggling her fingers as she did so.
“Who are you?”
“Clearly someone who’s going to destroy your faces since you’re messing with rare birds.” She shrugs her shoulders. “You all seem like hired workers, well so am I. You should have known that poaching is still rather dangerous.” She grinned devilishly as she finally took a step closer. Her white spaghetti strap tank top now had blood on it right where her chest was, where she turned the two’s heads closer to her before yanking her claws out. “One last warning before I destroy you. Birds out of your hands and possession, and they better be alive.” She dropped her smile as she took another step again towards them.

ZOOM. ZOOM. ZOOM. The pseudo competition was on; an undead, alien mage user with his giant pet versus a rather lewdified, Adalinda look alike. Who will get to the group first? Will the victor wait for their companion before going all out to obliterate these poachers? Only time will tell and perhaps we’ll find out next time on MAGES. HUNT. ASSHOLES. The scene fades and the episode comes to a close with Jaeger and Nava dipping, dodging, and shifting through the forest.

Episode 2 of Mages Hunt Assholes begins and picks up with Jaeger and Co. The first few moments are recap, spiraling through the moments Lethe and Jaeger met, the antics of Nava wanting food, and the insane paranoia of Jaeger Nekros Kruger. Though let's be honest, it was warranted and he will one day prove that it is Adalinda trying to pull one over on him! Sudden scene change, the title of the episode pops into frame “The Climax, who arrives first?!”. Fading back into the action with horizontal letterboxing, the heroes are seen to be swiftly making their way through the wooded area. Switching between Jaeger, Nava, and Lethe, each heading for the point of contact. This anime was heating up.
The camera pans around them and Lethe is first to make contact with the poachers. With the scent of blood in the air, it made it that much easier for the oddly made godslayer to sniff out and catch up. He wasn’t as used to tracking this way, more used to using a magical sense from a planetary standpoint, or perhaps it was that the woman was simply faster than him. It was hard to say as he knew nothing substantial about her abilities.
Suspenseful music plays, as if there was a shark on the prowl for prey that got themselves lost at sea. Jaeger was on the bloody scent, closing in rapidly as if he were that shark out for food. On occasion, an audience could see the top of his head and hair spring from the earth below as viewing the fin splitting the water before it. Eventually, he made his entrance and it was underneath Lethe, just the top of his head, down to about the middle of his nose was left exposed. His head either being a stepping stone for her to stand on or between her covered feet. If he were so inclined to look up, would he see shoes or panties/shorts? It was not for him to say.
“Yes, We are here and the blood is strong in the soil and I'll make sure it's used as good fertilizer.”
From the side, Nava makes an even more grand entrance than his owner and partner. The giant fluff creature had curled itself into a ball and came crashing into the group of poachers, hitting one of the grown ass men that had nothing in his possession. The two slammed into the ground, unexpectedly crushing the poacher beneath his velocity, momentum, and weight. The flames of its fur scorched and slightly charred any surface it touched, the poacher specifically having a hard time from the blunt force and the fire. Bouncing off the no named asshole, the giant red panda landed himself behind the group of bird hunters. He towered over them as he stood up on his hind legs, arms stretched out high into the air.

The hunters were taken by surprise as their two comrades fell in a swift and bloody attack from behind. The nature of their job was dangerous, but they never expected it to be this dangerous. Clearly, whoever hired these mages meant business! However, they weren't the only targets in these woods. Despite the situation, the fact that their comrades were taken out so easily and quietly, the leader of this particular group only smirked with the smugness of a foreign place known as California.
“You are good to have come this far and so easily… but… you are too late! We are just some underlings serving a greater purpose, a greater force!”
He chuckled as he and one other stood there, empty handed. They hadn't had time to collect any species, but they were acting to puffed up for the ones on the dead side.
“Dumb mages, our boss got himself a head start the other day. He knew he’d likely be chased, so we were hired to lure you from their trail.”
This episode is getting crazy! There were more poachers here in the greenwood of southern Fiore.The camera panned high into the sky, getting a top down view of the forest. Markers for the mountain village were highlighted while Nekros, Leather, and that group were pinpointed with an arrow and jaeger face emoji. They weren't deep into the woodland.
Returning to the forest floor, in a more mysterious portion, a group of poachers are seen around a small, previously used, campfire. Dotted with a few cages, the camera zooms into one of the creatures within before zooming back to the mages.

“Seems there are more of these pests here in the forest and that we’ve been bamboozled., Mistress Lethe.”
His head still only appears partially through the ground, staring up at the peons of the actual poachers that they’re supposed to be after.
“Shouldnt really waste much time on them, need to save… the biiiiirds.”
And with that, the vines and branches of the trees around them came to life. Slithering their way towards the men like snakes stealthily approaching their prey. And with one swift movement, immediately snatched up the remaining members of the fodder squad. The vines wrapped themselves around their necks and limbs. Branches covered and squeezed the life from their chests, snapped and broke the rib cage, clavicle and other boney bits.

The dragon slayer frowned as she glanced down. Between her legs was the head of her companion. She was wearing short shorts, so he wouldn’t be seeing too much. At least he came when she called out for him. “Fertilizer? Well the forest could use more trees for the birds we’re saving.” She snickers. She looked over to where Nava rolled in the area and snickers. “Oh look, the beautiful beast has arrived to help out.” Her lips rested and she glared at the lame-o who was yammering about a ‘greater force’ that they were a part of. She put her bloodied clawed hands on her hips as she tilted her head. Slowly her lips curled to a grin again. “Oh… you think I didn’t know that? I can smell them.” Her purple eyes gleamed with excitement.
She glanced down at Jaeger before the vines crushed the poachers, and she nodded. “Thank you. I could have captured them, but that was easier. Let's head to the others and save the birds.” She says as she moves to be away from over his head. He wasn’t going to quit with the ‘Mistress Lethe’, but that was much better than being called her mothers name.
She began to jog off again till she got closer to where she smelled the scent of the other group, claws still out as she crouched below the bushes and watched carefully. She thought for a moment before she sighs softly. “Distract them while I get the birds…” She told Jaeger as she put her hands to the ground, allowing some metal to flow from her hands into the earth. She wasn’t sure if Jaeger was able to tell or not, but she made a couple iron snakes that were weaving around under the ground towards the cages. She was going to free the animals in the cages, she just needed to have Jaeger to distract the blockheads for her so she could get them with little issues.

The ominous look of all these human poachers just dangling there, held aloft and gripped by branches and vines that slowly just reverted back to their inanimate counterparts. They froze in place, leaving their prey as a warning for others to enter the forest. The pitiful hunters were no match for the duo of Adalinda and Jaeger, the team was back together.

Chapter 3 - Mages hunting assholes starts with a conversation, or perhaps small comments were more appropriate, from Lethe. Could she have taken them all on? Maybe. Possibly. There was always a chance. But Jaeger had to show up with his macho essence and steal the show with Nava. It’s overall fine, she knows who's in charge anyway, clearly it was the Red Panda. His face now looking up towards the young woman, meeting eye to eye.
“Yes… I suspect you could have. HOWEVER!I did so anyway.”
And with that, they were off. Lethe running through the trees, Nava right behind her and Jaeger…. Still in the ground with half his head still sticking out like a shark breaching the surface of the water during a hunt. He kept up well enough, but just followed the ladies scent to know where they were going. Why track the other poachers themselves when he could, from an outside perspective looking in, be more creepy about life and sniff out Lethe.
After a bit, the group came to a stop just shy of meeting the larger group of hunters. They had already captured some of the birds and were in the process of hanging out and celebrating a good morning of hunting. Lethe made a new plan, told the young mage to make a distraction for her, and he was ready. Waiting all his life for this one moment.
“You can count on me, Mistress.”
And he was off, passing up the two delicious iron meals that slithered on either side of him. Jaeger reemerged on the other side of the camp site. His clothes were nowhere to be seen and in their place was a specific garment. THE ONE PIECE IS REAL…. And he was wearing it. A majestic slingkini in white and blue fabric. Straps running over his shoulders and down into the bulging cradle that housed his junk. Around the tip of the bulge was the company logo of the West Fiore Trading Company.
“Hello boys!”
The man spoke seductively loud to get their attention. As he walked closer, he swayed his hips, trying to seduce their eyes with the magnificent image of manly perfection; and it worked. All eyes were on the weirdo in the One Piece bathing suit. His manly whiles slipping around their faces like a visible smell alluring victims into a witches trap. They were all dumbfounded at the sight.

Lethe didn’t mind one bit that the bodies stayed there. She would have done the same on pikes if she were to be honest. They were of little concern to her now anyways with them moving on to the new group. The others could be food for the creatures of the forest. As he called her ‘Mistress’ once again, she smirked and nodded to him, letting him go off and have his fun.
Though, what he did next, she wasn’t expecting at all. As he came up from the ground, he was no longer in his clothes… and in a rather revealing swimwear. Clearly, this woke the dragon within her mind. ‘Ah… I don’t miss that one bit…’ He cringed in her mind. It took Lethe having to reprocess what Veles said to understand that he had seen this before. “What in the hell…?” She hissed aloud, sounding like it was to herself, but it was for her parasitic dragon. He wasn’t going to indulge her in the specifics, just that he was sorry she was seeing it and to try averting her eyes away and focus on the mission. Birds.
He had the group distracted… maybe much better than she could if she were to strip in front of them… maybe. She let herself get behind the group and started focusing on the little metal cages that the birds were in and started releasing them with a little key she molded out of her iron, being careful with her claws. Of course she wouldn’t let those disappear so soon… in case she may happen to get someone who stopped being distracted by Jaeger and notice her instead.
Which indeed happened as one allowed their eyes to be averted from him and they spotted Lethe freeing a bird. She let her purple eyes glare at the man and seemed to glow as they threw their hand at her to fire off a net magic at her. Of course this also alerted the others to her presence, and she snorted as she held her hands out as claws, ready to slice through things like she just did the net that had been shot at her and flew past her. “Really? You think that would work against knives?” She snorts a bit before looking at Jaeger, avoiding looking down at him. “It’s fun time again!” She muses to him before her pair of iron snakes jumped up from the earth and wrapped themselves around a couple of the poachers and suddenly had iron spikes stabbing into them from the snakes.

No… NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. The attention wasnt on his sexy, swim suit adorned body any longer. They focused on the woman with the snakes who was trying to free the birds. It was terrible, jealousy was rising that another was getting the attention that he deserved.
And that’s where the episode title scrolls across the screen. Jealousy, the ugly beast within!
As the poachers turned to deal with Lethe-a-linda, Jaeger's blood started to boil. He was now the jealous girl at high school that had all the attention until the new student took it all. Mean girl was in his future, the bratty and selfish teen to risk it all to get it all back.
“Hey boys, i'm over heeerrrreeeee.”
Jaeger said and tried to do a sexy wiggle and gain their attention. However, the attempt would go unsuccessful. They just wanted the new girl and her snake, not the amazing Mankini man. His face turned red with rage! His skin started flushing and graying, his body becoming large and lanky. The face of the mage morphed into having a large, red, glowing eye and a gaping mouth with fleshy sinew between top and bottom. Arms and legs thinned, fingers merging into three skinny and long phalanges. And as this transformation finishes, he lets out a loud screech that echoes throughout the forest.
All the poachers turned around in horror to find the terror of space, an alien creature yelling at them in rage and jealousy. The sinew stretched between his gray, dried like lips as small bits of liquid lead sprayed out like spit or saliva. Most of the birds flapped and squealed as their natural fight or flight instincts began to kick in, but were trapped in the cages.
“PAY ATTENTION TO MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE”
As he said this, globs of dark, liquid metal started spewing out of his mouth, landing on the poachers that were both tied up and not. It was molten lead and it covered everyone in the general area. It steamed upon coming into contact with the poachers skin as well as slowly poisoning their bodies with Lead poisoning. It wasn't a great way to go out.

As their friends were attacked, brutally assaulted by the duo. A few of the remaining poachers watched from the sidelines, not being in the direct path of the attacks. They stood in horror as their friends, companions, co-workers, and etc just got scorched and pierced. The large alien freak did it the most though. It was like seeing something straight out of a lacrima horror film. Their legs were unable to move from the fear, but they were safe and uninjured for the time being.
