As a brief breakdown to show you the difference between the two mission types:

Missions that are sticky at the top are the type of just daily missions you can find in any large MMO. No matter how many times you complete them, they are STILL going to ask you to do the same thing later on; cause they are helpless welps who keep making the same mistakes. These missions do not grant as much Jewels per completion as non-stickies, but you can spam the crap out of them. The only regulation is this: You must wait at least 3 days to have a sticky mission be your Primary mission. However, they can be part of your Side missions as much as you like so long as your partner is not breaking the above rule.

Non stickies will generate a much greater, if not almost double the reward as the stickies mission; but they are not spamable. This is to keep everyone from constantly spamming them. If you do one of these missions, be they side or primary, then it is done. You cannot re-register, or be registered into this mission again for at least 1 month for it to refresh. This includes you being part of the side group, and it not being your primary mission.
(Reason for 1 month; depending on the interval of time and to compensate for IRL events; it is to be able to disable anyone from doing a mission, and then doing one other mission and taking another week to finish just so that you can spam up the high priced jewels. Sorry, but it is happening. With the amount of missions around, you should not have a problem being able to do a good amount to keep you busy.

All in all, it is up to you to generate which mission you wish to do; and to mix up your experiences. Non-sticky missions will be tougher but give greater rewards, while sticky missions will be simple easy tasks that never end with little rewards.
