On Wings of Fire and Ice [Solo/Job]

The lady would be the clerk for him to speak to when he got inside of the inn, where he and the lady would end up looking each other in the eyes. She was a rather young ginger with fine clothing, a maiden for sure. He would deal with her in a formal way hopefully, she did not seem like the type of person to play him out of his money. But there was a reason why the inn was able to charge the price that it did, so he needed to be very careful. With this in mind, he would then approach her, ready to speak to her. She was the first one to start off the conversation, and she was definitely a happy little ginger when she did it. “Welcome to the inn of the Royal Castle! We welcome you as our guest! Perhaps you would like to sleep here for a night? Perhaps just a little meal? Every visit is just 20k jewels, and it will then be yours for the night!” She did bring up a nice offer to him, she definitely did know how to treat a guest with her words. He would just give her a casual reply instead of one that sounded interested, hopng that she was willing to go along with it, and that she was not just doing this sort of thing for the money only. Placing his ahnds in his pockets, he would begin to explain. “No no, thank you for the offer. My name is Elyx Reiaki, perhaps you know me as the Guild Master of Golden Phoenix. I have been looking to ask a couple of questions. The dragons that came by, do you know how often they come by? How many of them, and what they seek when it comes to coming around here and trying to destroy the whole place?” Surprisingly enough, the lady did not seem to mind him being around and did not care to start off on a fighting note or anything that stupid. With that, he knew he was getting some progress.

Well, if there is one thing that one should learn about Ignite, it was that she did not just take a no and obey. If she wanted something, she was going to get it. And she wanted the sword. But before going on the rage, her purple eyes would look at the glass once again, she would then look back towards the man before then asking about the rifle inside of the machine. “And so what about that beauty right there? Is there anything I need to do to get that?” She would ask him before the man would actually respond with an answer that was technically possible for one to do, but it was most likely not the answer that she was looking for. He would cross his muscled arms before then answering her. “Yeah, you can insert a couple hundred Jewels in there and play to win it.” And that sort of answer resulted in her slamming her fists against the temper glass, making the whole store rumble in the process. Her head was down, a shade covering her eyes as she would then make a low growl as her tone would darken. However, she was giving him one more chance to redeem himself before she herself decided to take any actions that would result in something unfortunate for the man of the pawn shop. “Let me ask you this again, and make sure that you choose the right answer before hot air ends up vibrating to sound stupid like that. Is there any way I could get this rifle in here without paying too much of a heavy price?” the man did not seem to be mentally budging though, despite the results of the hit that she had used against the machine that he owned. Seems like he was pretty confident in his strength, which was going to only have an unfortunate result for him at the end of the day sadly. Placing his arms down, he would then respond to her. “Sorry lady, but you are going to have to play or pay for it now.”

Seeing that there was actually help here, the lady would begin to explain. Perhaps it was the fact that was her talking to him, which kind of made him a bit disappointed since he wanted to be known for his actions of the present rather than the ones of the past they were both people at the end of the day, and she has as much potential as he does, so there really should be no reason for it. Placing his hands in his pockets, he would end up looking towards the clerk before she would then give as much information to him as she possibly could. “Well, here is the thing. The dragons came all of a sudden to the castle. One of them was white and the other was gold. The both of them were extremely strong against us, but we kept fighting them off. The first time they came, we were able to handle them with minor injuries. But they all seem to heal quickly, seeing as they come by every day with the same amount of health that they started off with. And as you know, a human can’t heal that quickly, and soon, they were able to break into the defenses of the castle. They all seem to have some form of fire or ice magic with them, so it is best that you be careful. I think that is all I know, I hope that was of any use to you Mr. Reiaki.” She truly was a lady, even calling him a mister, even while it was not really needed. Fortunately, she did not say it in a way that would have brought any cringe, mainly because it was her role to address people in that way thanks to the job. Maybe the whole place was not as much of a scam as he might have thought of it to be, he heavily underestimated it by a long shot. Placing his hands in his pockets, he would nod his head before thanking her for the information that was provided for him, and then take a leave.

Ignite in the meantime was not having so much of an easy time. sO it was the final straw, and the man was now prepared to fight if he needed to against a lady. It was going to take a lot more than that to get to her though, Ignite was unfortunately for him, much stronger. Though the difference is not extreme, her physical power comes from that of an intense amount of training while bearing the blood of a Phoenix Bird. There was not really much that the human could do. They did possess a great amount of strength, he was certain of that. But those giants arms only made himself a bigger target in the purple eyes of the She Phoenix. And with a huge target, how was she to miss him when she was right in front of him? With that, she would punch the machine to unplug it from the wall of the pawn shop, launching it into the air before holding it up with two hands. The man would quickly stumble back from the shock of having his property damaged. The machine would only let out a small two second alarm before being too damaged to let it have any more noise. The security can only do so much, Ignite did not like having the prices placed up against her like that. She would then begin the little fight with him by attempting to slam the machine down onto the man, who would block all of that force by crossing both of his arms, knees bending to show that it definitely took effort to keep the thing from completely smashing his body to the ground. The giant was not able to fight back so easily, the She Phoenix kicking forward towards the unguarded face of the man as he would be slammed back once again. His feet slid against the wood of the floor below them, which made everything far too imperfect for him. Ignite would land onto the floor before holding the machine close to her body as if it were a stuffed animal.

Elyx was done with the inn. The Phoenix in the air does not seem to have any bit of news for them. All right, so there was only fire and ice to deal with. So all Elyx needed to do was take the form of Aiyana, and then he could use his Frostfire to overpower the attacks of his enemies. Fire bowed down to the Frostfire, and the ice bowed down to the Frostfire. It was just far too perfect for him, and now he knew what he needed to do in order to handle an opponent like that. They all came in numbers. So he was going to have to put them in his would so that the town would not be affected by the spell that he would carry out. Then he would slam the spell onto them to make sure that they would not return back to the scene ever again, if not for a long while. It was hopeful that he got to fight them again, they did seem kind of fun. And the more beasts to take on, the better it was for him. So with that, he would draw a smile on his face as he would begin to reach the borders. It was about time for him to turn back after he covered every single inch of the area, and he knew this. Placing his palms in his pockets and closing his eyes, he would begin to use his magic sensory to see what might be coming. The only three beings however with it were the trio of beings that were out for the dragons in the first place. Elyx himself was at the center. Ignite was way far off to the south, but he was still able to catch onto her fiery personality in her magic power. And the Phoenix seemed to be circling around, covering as much ground as it possibly could, meaning that it was going to thrive very well on that sort of thing when it came to searching. He should definitely use it more often on these sorts of jobs.

The man was not so willing to give in though, he would attempt to get a loose beer bottle on the ground and slam it at her by throwing it real roughly. She would dodge the attack by moving her head to the side before stomping her foot, breaking a bit of the wood to launch the man’s body into the air using the leverage of the force and the opposite end being where the man was. He would be flipped into the air, and since he did not have any aerial grace, there was no way that he was able to help himself when it came to the next attack to come as he would end up flailing his arms, but that was about it. Ignite would hold the machine with both of her arms once again, holding it up like a baseball bat as she would then swing it forward in front of her to quickly rid herself of the man and his little antiques. With that much force, the man’s body would be launched through the rough brick wall and onto the outside, leaving him on his back for a bit. Despite this however, he somehow had the endurance to keep going. It was perhaps because of his bulky size being able to take a lot of damage and have a lot of health as well. Or perhaps his own thirst for money was continuing to grow without having much of a stop, and he was going to get to ignite one way or anything. The way he recovered was a bit sloppy, but it was able to get the job done as he was getting onto his feet. It was taking a bit since the damage was weighing down on his back. But once he did, he would rush towards the door before slamming it down with a foot, then he picked it back up, prepared to use it as his own weapon as well. Seems the both of them came to the conclusion that these were viable weapons used for battle, a fight for real ones.

Elyx was at the border, where he would find nothing, meaning that the task had been done on his side. Now all he needed to do was return back to the center of the scene where he could look over towards Ignite and his servant to see what they were up to. It was most likely they made some sort of progress if he were to know them both. Then again, it was a bad idea to try to predict Ignite, who has gotten herself in plenty of trouble. She was pretty far from him, so he had no idea what was going on with her. But nothing too bad seems to be going on, no one seems to be calling out for a fire or anything like that, so he figured that things were working out pretty well. It could actually be a good time for him. So with that, he would turn himself back and head back to the center of the town where he and Ignite had first decided to make a split like they agreed to do. Placing his palms in his pockets, he would then begin to take the path down towards the center. He was going to need a few more headache pills if he actually knew what was going with Ignite, getting into a fight so quickly. At least she was not wasting her fire, and it was not like she was planning to kill him. The king and queen will most likely not hear of anything since it was a pawn shop, and it was normally on its own territory rather than the one of royalty. Otherwise, it would be paying a lot of taxes, and if there was one thing that he knew they hated to do, it was to give money away in any form for any reason. Was it greedy? Absolutely. Will they claim that it was just business? Of course. And he was going to have to correct them on that. But ignite seems to have to take care of that for him, though she was not using the best resort.

The door would be slammed against the machine, making Ignite block the attack with it while stepping back a bit before she would end up placing the machine down quickly and kicking it, making it slide against the ground and forcing the man to block, but he would continue to move back with it before he would end up stumbling. When that happened, Ignite would jump up and kick the machine once against once it lost a little bit of the balance and then ended up with a smile as it would end up losing a bit of balance and eventually, causing both the heavy door and the machine to hit against his body and lock himelf to the ground since the both of them were far too heavy. To top it all off, she would end up jumping up on top of the machine and the door in front of her, ending up crossing her legs and she would obtain the victory. The man could only struggle in her control as she would eventually hop up and end this, knocking him out for a little bit by knocking out his body for a little bit. With that, she would break the glass of the machine and placing the rifle out of the machine. It too quite a bit of force to break through the temper glass, but it had been done, and now he obtained a new weapon of destruction. Looking back to the past where she could have just used her unfair amount of luck to win, she would just shrug. It was probably a lot more fun this way anyways, though it did end up with the result of someone getting knocked out. Plus, it looked like an extremely cool weapon as well, like hell was she going to pass up the chance. There were no bullets, confirming this to be a magic rifle rather than a real one, which came with a lot of good effects and a lot of bad ones compared to the normal build. It was fine, she finally obtained her dream weapon.

Elyx would end up walking towards the center, only to see that Ignite was not there. All right, she most likely stopped for some reason, meaning he was going to have to follow her trail, probably asking people where she had been at and if she was going to return anytime soon, though the answer to the latter of the question will be a nasty “No”. it was a sad answer, especially considering he got it a lot when it came to the She Phoenix, but he learned to deal with it and continue moving on. Pressing his feet against the ground softly, he would begin to move forward away from the center. And right as he began, he would then notice the the fiery aura in her was far higher than anything for some reason. This could mean that she got into a fight. Or this could mean she ended up getting something that made her extremely happy. If it was the former of the two, he was going to have to stop it as soon as he can if it did not involve the dragons. But that was raise a question. How did the Phoenix not catch onto it? It was in the air, it was most likely to find something first before Ignite did. And Ignite would probably have sent the bird over to him to get a little bit of help, because the beast on it’s own was definitely a damning one, considering how many more dragons would also be on the scene to help it finish off the battle. Seeing as there is nothing else to be done about it he would place his palms in his pockets and smile as he would move over to her, now having a bright attitude thinking that she was probably really happy about something, and something so exciting happened that she could not control her sensory. Now he was curious to see what it was, and hopefully it was something that could give them a clue as to how to defeat the incoming waves without his nuking spell.

Ignite would take her new magic rifle with her away from the scene that had been made. It will take a while for all of it to be found out. But the guy will not even remember who was the one who did it to him, or the reason why he was knocked out in the first place. The brain did not allow one to remember how they were knocked out if it was that much of a brutal hit. There was even a game dedicated to that when he was a child. It was a brutal game called knockout, and in knockout, the goal was to pick a random stranger, chase them down, and knock them out cold. They were not able to remember anything that had happened to them before it, thus giving the people who tried to find the ones who caused the trouble a hard time to finding them, if they were even able to find them. Elyx himself never played that game, since he was more of a good child than anything. And those children ended up growing up in a very special way, thinking that such a thing was a fun game, they were not going to have a bright future. With that out of the way, since the brain was probably not going to remember Ignite and what she had done, she was able to leave the scene without even bothering to get help. And since there were also no witnesses to see the scene, she was able to get off of this case without even a word. As she would continue to walk away, she would see a human image in front of her. Fixing her eyes to see a little bit better in the sunlight, she would then notice a familiar tuft of brunette hair in the distance. It was a spiky set of goofy looking hair to her. But it belonged to her partner, and she would quickly run over to him with an excited smile on her face and a rifle in both of her hands now. It was definitely her kind of day.

Elyx would end up meeting with Ignite, who would have a rifle in her hands instead of the usual empty hands she had. Well that was no wonder, and she was able to get her hands on one. Seeing how much she liked them, it would be suicide to try to get her hands off of it, now if he wanted to lose his own hands. He would probably lose each finger that dared touch her new rival, so like hell was he going to try it. So he would instead try to just simply go along with it. “So I see you finally got yourself a new toy. Are you sure you are able to handle such a thing? I don’t think you can use it right away, but don’t you need some sort of training?” The Guild Master would ask her, placing his palms in his pockets and tilting his head to the side, lips neutral as he would look at the weapon. The Wizard Saint would look at the weapon even further to notice that it was not a real gun, but a magic rifle, which could more or less be more dangerous or less dangerous, depending on the model and the type of bullets that it used. He did know that the bullets were fueled by magic power, which would only end up resulting in an infinite amount of fire bullets coming from the She Phoenix. It was going to be a brutal amount of firepower if she were to end up behind it. But again, that firepower can either be directed towards the dragons that would be coming for them, or at him if he tried to take the gun away from her. He’d rather not take such stupid chances against her, and so he would just let her have it. Maybe it was just about time she got the thing, and he was just being a little bit overprotective of her. If she can prove to him that she could use it, he had no objections to her using it from now on in battles.

With that, the both of them would look back up to see that the Phoenix bird that had been summoned would then screech, meaning that something new was on the scene that did not belong. Seeing as it was never wrong with that before, Elyx would place out his palms as wind would swarm in them. Ignite would hold the rifle close to her chest as she would then begin to make the run up a wall of a different building. Elyx would use Air Step on Bound Iris to take care of the fact that he could not fly, and the both of them would gain some elevation. There were many tiny little dots out in the distance, plenty of them as well, and they all seemed to be ready to take charge of the scene. If they were coming this way by looking bigger all at once, it was pretty obvious what they were. The three of them needed to act quickly. Ignite would begin her charge on top of the buildings, looking for a way to change into the Phoenix Bird sniping mode that she was in. Placing her palms out as the rifle in the right hand would be behind her, she would end up firing a bullet with a bit of a stumble, but continue firing as if she had mastered it as the bullets would fire at the dragons. Shots of the cannons were being done, though there were not too many of them, and certainly not enough to take on a whole flight of dragons. Were they all insane? What the hell were they thinking, not getting too much weaponry when it comes to taking down large opponents. Are they going to end up in a bad state? Eh, only time can tell at this point. There was the fact that they could be losing men and materials. In that case, he needed to cast out a spell that would allow them all to be healed and have the motivation to keep fighting for the royal castle before the dragons have it down.

Elyx would begin to cast it out, the dark energy emitting from his palms as the soldiers would all begin to get healed. He was running was well, using one palm to carry out the task while the other would keep him up with the effect of Bound Iris. It was definitely a difficult trick to master this, but it was definitely a beautiful one. It took a little bit of time since he was running towards the dragons, but the cannonballs were beginning to fire at a faster rate. Some snipers and archers would also appear on the scene to make sure that the task has been done as well. Preparing himself for the worst, he would end up looking over towards his opponent with a smile on his face as they were coming closer. The humans were ready for the counterattack that they were about to give out. It was going to be bigger, and it was going to have a lot more explosive impact than anything that could be hurled at them. And now Elyx and Ignite were here, the both of them more than ever prepared for what was to come after all of this. Was this the end? Not even close. He and Ignite had no doubts that they will be able to come out of this without even so much as a scratch from the fight. It just did not seem like something that would end up being a reality. Despite the numbers, they lacked the ability to think right. As in, they were only able to use their force, and that left them with many predictable openings. In a way, any mage could become a dragon slayer if they felt, since they were not that hard to slay, like a deity or a demon. Then again, deities were smarter, despite them being false to their definition, in which he really did not care for them. Sure, one must have made it all happen, but the rest were glorified and unable to even fend for themselves against their own slayers. Is that not funny?

'Monster Dice' :

With that out of the way, the swarm was huge. Many of the golden and the white beings were out to get them, making their lives miserable if they were able to get past the gate. Ignite was continuing to fire, but not moving anymore. She was on the edge of the building with her right knee placed down onto the ground, kneeling as she would take her position all of the way in the back, preventing her from continuing this little scenario that needed to be taken care of between an incoming dragon that tried to get past the walls once again. It was a beautiful shot, two bullets that hit the chest cause the being to go down. A few more cannonballs were fired at a different dragon to bring it down, but the amount of dragons there were was far too many for the cannonballs. The archers would take care of a third dragon, sending many flaming arrows to make sure that nothing were to happen to the enemy. It was a nice way of getting through the scene, but there was not much that they could do without Elyx offering some sort of assistance. Activating the magic power boost of his, he would use his signature, the signature contract with the deity of the sky before a ball of dark energy and wind would form in his palm once again, vibrating the air around it to show how intense the whole thing was. Once that had happened, he would then move his body quickly in the air, pretty much teleporting the whole time before aiming for one of the white dragon and slamming the palm of air against it, shooting down any hopes of it coming back as he struck the chest and caused it to be knocked out, the same way that the She Phoenix was able to knock out the man. It did not even flap in a chaotic way or anything, it just dropped dead to the ground with a mighty shockwave coming from the body of the being to shake up the town a bit.

Seeing as the attacks were working, some more of the enemies were trying to get through, attacking in groups like those with the cannonballs and the bows were doing. A few mages were trying to help, but barely had any effect on them. So Elyx would take another shot, using the Sky Slayer bellows to mow down the opponents that were in his way, the tornado spinning quickly throughout the scene. It was moving down through all of the lesser dragons that had no business being on the scene, since his magic power had been amplified further to prevent anyone from continuing a barrage against a wall. While it was huge, it also did send a lot of arrows off aim, but none of them were sent back and hurt any of the humans, so that was a good thing. The next part of the attack was Ignite, who would continue to snipe down one dragon at a time, though it was a much slower process. However, she infused her fire with the bullets, allowing her to increase the power of the bullets at the cost of distance. It was to take down the ones that were near the walls, or the ones that were getting far too close, but then the bullets would burn themselves out and leave nothing but ashes before she has to try again. Was it an investment worth it? Seeing the dragons getting close, he would agree that it was probably worth it in the long run. And so he would then look to see what other dragons were coming. It seemed like he and Ignite were winning the battle, but anything could change at any moments notice, and it was definitely far too early to be celebrating anything while under the fire of the golden dragons, who seem to want to have a crack at the job. Placing his hands in his pockets, he would then look back towards the humans, they were much more motivated than ever at taken down the giant beasts, now that they see a chance at actually winning the war.

The next wave to come were some of the golden dragons, which seem to have a thirst for blood as they all came all at once, meaning they were looking to use a massive amount of force. Looking back towards Ignite to see what she would have in store for them. The nozzle would be aimed towards the one to the right before she would look at him for confirmation. It did not seem to have anyone taking care of it, and it had a huge set of claws ready to rain down ono the walls. The humans were busy with dealing with the first one, which would be the one towards the right, so the Guild Master would nod his head towards her before then her shot would make it to the arm to prevent it from moving any further. Any sphere of dark energy and wind would appear in his palm once again as it would slam against the chest of the enemy, causing it to stumble back all of the way and flutter a bit before spinning around and letting out a huge wave of fire in the shape of a beam. Elyx would just stand through it, the ability to not take any knockback and the ability to recover damage faster than he could take it would be amazing. Placing his palms in his pockets, he would just float towards the enemy with a smile on his face before slamming the bottom of it’s chin from below, taking on the new strength that the dragon was able to use, closing it’s mouth and no longer letting it use the giant beam. With that, he would take care of the exposed neck of the being by slamming another ball of dark energy into the neck of the opponent, causing it to lose any form of oxygen. Due to the lack of breath, it would begin to flutter down for the moment. And by the time it was able to breathe again, it crashed with a mighty impact against the ground, and it sounded like the sound of victory.

Seeing the first one go down was amazing, the Reiaki had no regrets when it came to doing what he had just done. It was all over. Nothing can be said, the humans were gaining the ground. The castle was not even going to be touched if the dragons were not able to reach him and the castle behind him. Elyx would jump back towards the top of the wall to let the others fire their cannons. Sadly, while the regular humans were firing towards the dragon towards the left, he would end up taking down the right one with Ignite. So who exactly was going to be covering the one in the middle again? This mystery will never be solved at this rate, until it was far too late that is. The giant claws would scratch against the walls of the town, breaking down a decent amount of rock. “The dragons are getting closer to the walls! Call for reinforcements!” Sounds like a good plan, but they were going to have to sacrifice a little bit of the guard to do that. Elyx was lucky that the first his was not able to finish the job for the wall, and that it was THAT well-built. But how long was it going to last was the question. And he could not afford to find out. So with that, he needed to jump back to Ignite and then over towards the middle, all while preventing the arm that had been raised to lower once again. It was already bringing itself up, which was already damning news for the town. The Wizard Saint would push his body forward once again as he would jump towards where Ignite was before looking over to the central. The She Phoenix aimed her nozzle once again at the arm would attempt to go down, resulting in it being forced back up with a nasty amount of recoil at the end of the hit. That stalled for time, and now he was going to have to take this being one now and make sure it goes down.

Seeing the golden enemies falling down one by one, the armies would continue to fall towards the humans. The flames were being spread very quickly, so it was far too early to be celebrating anything. With this in mind, the Reiaki would begin to engage with the enemy that was trying to fight through the center. The humans were still fighting the dragon on the right side. A few more dragons began to fly onto the scene, where Elyx would have to take the control. Even if it was not his role to do so, who else was there to take his place? “Ignite! I need you to take on the mini dragons around us before they get a chance to attack the wall! Cannons, focus on the left golden dragon only! We can’t let them get over through the wall!” With that, some of the men would try to question him, about his leadership and if he was even supposed to be doing something like giving them orders. Well, he was the one who took out more of the enemies. And with that, they would begin to do what they had been told to do. Ignite had no trouble with obeying the commander of the Wizard Saint as he would end up looking back up to the dragon as it tried to breathe out a giant amount of fire. However, it was not able to do anything as Elyx would place out his palm to block the impact of it. A sloppy strategy that would hurt a mage in the process due to the force of the attack, but he was able to carry out since his body would instantly repair the burn marks that he ended up getting. The pain was not even something that he was able to acknowledge, since that was what his whole build was designed to heal more damage than he was able to take. And the display being shown here was a prime example of that. Ignites shots would be heard from behind, where they would begin to fire down the smaller enemies, though not at a fast enough rate.

Seeing that the attacks were finally beginning to die down due to the lack of enemies that was coming onto the scene, he would then place his palms forward as he would then let out an attack of his own when the flames came out. It was the Sky Deity True Control spell that allowed him to turn the fire that came for him and would revert it back towards his opponent in a nasty manner towards the opponent, acting as if it were the same spell being done onto the opponent. All of the flames that headed for him would look as if they were being blocked by an invisible dome as the fire particles would dissolve into the wind. The case for this was simple, he was just about done with handling things on his own. Elyx was not an offensive based fighter, he played with defenses a lot and would then counter the attacks. This meant that he was able to protect his own body and take advantage of an opponents openings, which he was able to locate pretty easily. The stereotype was that the Sky Deity Slayer was supposed to be able to heal others and be the weaker of the slayers, but the most useful at the same time. He agreed with the latter of the two, but definitely not the former. So he built it in a way to lock down an opponent from attacking and play on the same field as Elyx, who was heavily based on using attacks that required M.P. It was a beautiful system for him, to not have to worry about the melee attacks when Quatro comes out to play with the spirit armor. Stella would be ready with her speed leeching abilities and her effect controls as well as anti anti effect control ability. It was a perfect thing for her to use whenever he was ag ainst someone who dared try to debuff him to the point of no return in a battle. A sky slayer should know how to do that anyways, this just adds onto it.

With the true control, he would return the fire that became a huge swarm of dark wind and return it back towards his opponent as it would then case a devastating amount of impact towards the chest. Elyx made sure that it was able to hit the area closest to the heart so that there would be enough of a shock to send it out from the scene. It would flinch a little bit from the impact, and It took a massive amount of damage, but not enough to cause the core of it to stop beating for even a slight bit, which meant that it was still able to fight. However, the servant that was the Phoenix also took a role in the battle, looking to crash into that same area. It was just about done with its job anyways, so it will go down and take one of the golden dragons down with it. The impact would cause a giant explosion of wind to knock both the flames of opposing dragons and a few arrows off of their target, which meant that it was definitely able to not just stop the heart for the moment, but even for a few moments. It would not even flutter, but drop down onto the ground once again before it would land with a mighty thud that was looking to end the battle by shaking the ground. It was almost done. The dots that were coming would stop for a moment at the sight of the second leader being taken down, all by a man, a woman, a phoenix, and their little army. Perhaps they should not underestimate a mage, and if they were that smart, they most certainly knew better than to take on the challenge that was a game of monopoly with the both of them. So it would then make the rational choice of fleeing the scene while the last couple of dragons were left in combat, not even willing to turn back and away from them like many rational beings would do, which would decide their fate.

The job had been done just about. The cannons were still somehow able to fire despite the number that it took to take care of the job. When the being would raise a giant paw to even try to bat down onto the wall, it would just end up getting denied by one of the giant lead spheres and force it to play defensively as it would raise it’s arms to its head. That left it’s arms and stomach exposed to a lot of damage. Elyx did not even need to give any more orders to them in order to get the job done for them. They all were smart, they just needed a little bit more manpower. Despite not having a leader tell then what to do anymore, they were organized and would attack with strategy. Seems like he did not have to do anything, but Elyx wanted to make sure to take care of any beings that would surround it to try to help the attack against the wall. Ignite would look over to him, aiming the nozzle at their golden opponent before then pointing it to the ice dragon beings that wanted them to lose against the golden giant. The focus of the humans was mainly on the golden one, but mainly was not going to be good enough. So he would prepare himself for another Sky Deity Bellows and he would breathe in with a lot of wind compressed in his lungs. It would then fire out a giant spiral of wind towards the opponent, leaving a lot of dark wind towards the opponent and a smile left on his face as the task had been finished. Each of the lesser dragons would end up getting caught in the devastating amounts of wind and eventually would drop down just as the first two ended up falling towards the ground. While the impact was not as mighty, they would all fall in a different amount of time, causing all of them to cause many rumbles on the ground. That only left one being for the people to take care of.

They were able to finish the job on their own as the lead spheres would end up hitting only one target. Elyx would end up placing himself back up, he had a decent amount of M.P to work with, and he did not need any help to get himself out from the scene. It was a pretty easy battle for him to work with, since there was not much that needed to be done to take care of the task. The Reiaki would place his palms in his pockets as he would look back to Ignite, who would get back up from her kneeling position as a Sniper. Pretty decent aim, and she did not end up affecting the battle in a bad way. It seems like she has proven to him that she did a great job with the task, so he would end up placing his palms in his pockets and smile to her and then gave her a thumbs up with the right palm. It was all over. The people below would begin to cheer as they obtained victory. The only thing to do left was get back over towards the king and the queen to tell them of the results that occurred. It was a task well done, and now they just had to report it. As proof, the ice and the fire would begin to instantly disappear from the town as the dragons have been slain. They were not dead, they knocked out for the moment. And that most likely will teach them to not come back and return towards them if they knew what was good for them. Looking back towards the people, the both of them would begin to walk back towards the royal castle to see what was going to happen. Hopefully the people would notice the difference. While there was no more ice, there was plenty of magic water that needed to be dealt with. Maybe they could use it as a resource, or it could just act as water. But regardless, it was all for free at the end of the day.

The both of them would arrive to the castle, the guards being able to notice them and moved out of the way without questioning them. Though one of them would then ask them a question. “You both were able to handle it so quickly?” AS if they made it look easy. It was definitely not, and the army definitely did help the castle rather than the both of them. So with that out of the way, he would place his hands in his pockets as he nodded his head. However, when Ignite was about to begin bragging, he would then begin to drag her from behind. One of the guards would ask the She Phoenix for the rifle so that nothing would happen. Reluctantly, she would end up handing it over. However, she made sure to add on a little threat to make sure that none of them would do anything stupid to it. “If you dare do anything to the rifle, I will make sure that there is no trace of any being who dared even touched it except for I.” The guards definitely took a hint, though they already did not plan to do anything to it. Ignite was just doing it to make sure that it was confirmed that there was nothing to be done to her weapon. Elyx would just end up walking with a little shade over his eyes as he would make his way down the hallway and up the stairs where they would end up meeting a lot of the doors that ended up standing in their way. Placing their feet up on the second floor, they would end up making their way towards the giant set of double doors that existed. Seeing that there is no other way of doing it, he would end up looking at the guards who would look back to the both of them. There were a few jewels and cards around them. Seems like they were gambling. If only having a job like that paid so well, maybe Elyx could have gotten it before he had his own Guild.

They would both open the doors for the guests that was able to solve the problem of the castle, where there was nothing else of the fire or the ice. They should be fine, and the kind and queen would end up welcoming them back from the couple of hours that had been spent in the battle. It was all over, and the both of them had a right to know how the battle ended up. The king would step from his throne first to see Elyx and Ignite with nothing but maybe a few scratches, which was a few more than the both of them had been expecting, but it was still a thing. “Elyx Reiaki, how did you do? Were you able to get the task done? Will they be coming back?” Seems like the priorities were in check, he was the king after all. Elyx would end up replying with a status report, all in his usual former manner as usual. “Well your highness, I was able to beat down the dragons and I doubt they will be coming. We did not end up killing them, but I doubt they will come. Your army was able to help with this, seeing as there were three golden dragon and who knows how many white ones. At the end, the numbers were not able to finish the army and the both of us. We both were able to get the task done just like you have asked.” The Reiaki would end up explaining. And with this, he would end up receiving a genuine smile from the royalty that controlled all of Fiore. It was favor towards him, and then the king would end up speaking once again. “Elyx Reiaki, Ignite Rosella, the both of you have done my kingdom much good. The Royal Castle will both recognize you both whenever you enter, feel free to come back to the scene if you ever need it. If there is anything that I am able to provide for the both of you, or Golden Phoenix, let me know, and it will be done.”
