Mashyuu in: Fist of the Beast King!

The near forty foot tall Lion recoiled from the massive wound that the Brood Mother had inflicted upon the eye of the Lion. It's sharp teeth barred with anger but it couldn't clear the tears from it's eye due to the pain that was surging through it. The Brood Mother swept up through the air and soared around back of the beast, swiping at the back of the Lion's knees and dropping it down and shaking the ground from the sudden weight of the Lion. Snarling with anger the Lion sprang back up and ran around the Hell Brood, trying to keep it's distance while gauging how bad it's vision really was. The Wizard in the mean time continued to mash down on the dry earth below his body. Each crunch he made and swallowed restored more of that amazing magic that coursed through his body and made the Wizard feel that much better about ending the fight once and for all. From the looks of it the Lion couldn't actually heal, it just flew into a rage after being brought down once already.

Hell Brood spread it's wings and let the force of the Lion's swipe push the creature through the air and aid it in avoiding a possibly deadly blow. Closing it's wings in the beast spiraled down low to the ground and launched a blast from it's mouth straight into the wound Mashyuu's spike had delivered earlier in the fight. Off in the distance Rocky brought itself to it's shaky legs and shook the pain in it's body away. Try as it might the stone golem couldn't spread it's wings something was lodged between them and holding them in place. Sadly it's arms weren't long enough for it to pull something off it's back. With a little whimper Rocky scanned the area and caught the fight unfolding some sixty meters away and started to charge down the hill it was on as fast as it could...

Soaring through the air the Hell Brood did it's best to weave in and out of the massive Lion's limbs to try and trip it up. The Wizard below at last stood up and rubbed his face with the back of his arm. Blood caked to his chest but the wounds were closed. The Earth Wizard snapped his fingers and felt the electrical charge course through him once again and that alone brought a smile to his face. Still why not let the Hell Brood continue to wear the Lion down while Mashyuu recovered? Silently he stood, watching the dark shadow monster fly around in the blistering sun. The Lion roared meekly, clearly seeing the end of it's life coming ever closer. A swift swipe of it's claws slashed through the ribs of the Lion and forced the monster to recoil to the side. It staggered back a pace and growled at the Hell Brood then braced itself for a charge.

Mashyuu saw the attack coming and managed to run in time as the Lion ripped through the Hell Brood and made it become a puff of smoke in one fell swoop. The Lion barely managed a roar in the process but got one off none the less. Mashyuu grinned, seeing the beast on it's last legs and even Ux had a comment. If you're going to end the best, now is the time. We may not get this chance again young Wizard. Mashyuu nodded his head to show he agreed with the ring and prepared to charge. Just as he was about to do so, Rocky came shooting past the Wizard and stopped to show him that there was a long, flat stone jammed in it's wing's, stopping them from opening. Mashyuu smiled wide at the Golem, seeing the beast still alive. He dropped down and pulled the stone out of the wing's and tossed it aside, allowing Rocky to spread it's wings wide and bark happily. "Okay buddy lets finish this fight."

On shaky legs the Lion snarled and twisted to face Mashyuu but found that the Wizard was being tossed through the air by Rocky. The Wizard smashed his palms together to let stones fall from his magical gloves and form gauntlets of stone around them. Mashyuu's fingers dug into the socket of the Lion's missing eye, throwing his full weight on the Lion and pulling it's head down a little while Rocky grew spikes all over it's body and smashed into the Lion's one good eye. The Lion screamed with pain while Rocky dislodged itself from the Lion's eye and landed on the top of it's head, smashing it's claws into the top of it's skull. The Lion howled and shook hard, trying to throw the Wizard and his pet off of it's head but to no avail. It just couldn't get the strength needed to do anything but lay down. It started to bat at it's face weakly with it's paw and barely managed to clip Mashyuu. The Wizard jumped from the eye socket to the paw, placing his palm to it's front ankle and calling out. "Secret Art: Earth Dragons Exploding Spike!" The glove of his hand expended a thin and long spike that ripped through bone. Mashyuu jumped to the ground and listened at the spike exploding and crippling the Lion.

With to much pain coursing through it, the Lion fell over, throwing Rocky through the air in the process but the stone Golem caught itself in the air and landed at Mashyuu's side. The pair looked at each other with grins on their faces. Mashyuu pointed at the creature and called up a large stone fist and sent it rocketing into the Lion's gut, breaking bones in the process. The Lion whimpered from the pain and let it's bleeding eye roll shut as it gave up on life.

The Lion laid still and whimpered. In Mashyuu's heart he couldn't bring himself to simply kill the beast with his bare hands. Slowly he raised his arms and brought them together, letting the ground come up and swallow the massive Lion in the process. The ground swallowed the beast and crushed it's bones once again, this time surely finishing the job in the process. "That was one hell of a fight huh? Feeling okay Rocky or do you need me to carry you back to the village?" Mashyuu asked the stone creature. Weakly Rocky looked up at it's friend and took a half step forward and fell on it's belly. Mashyuu chuckled and pet behind the stone dogs ear. Rocky made a whimpering sound and rolled to it's back happily. "Alright Rocky, wait here while I try to rip one of this things teeth out to show the Chief of the Village." Mashyuu suggested and strolled up to the beasts mouth. He covered his nose from the smell of it's breath and nearly vomited.

"God's below and above your breath is terrible you ugly Lion." Mashyuu whispered and started to climb up the Lion's body, inch by inch he scaled until he stood atop the beast and looked down at it's neck. The Wizard called out for his sword one last time and flipped it the silvered blade around in his hand a few times. Mashyuu aimed the blade down and plunged it down into the beasts neck, blood sprayed through the air and coated Mashyuu's face and chest. Mashyuu ripped the blade around, slowly ripping through the beasts neck until he was dangling from the monster. For whatever reason he really wanted the beasts head off the body. Maybe it was because it had nearly killed him and Rocky, maybe it was a sort of pride that made Mashyuu want to watch the head roll. Either way he couldn't figure out why.

Mashyuu worked tirelessly for what seemed like an hour or so until the head was separated from spine. It rolled forward some fifteen feet and stopped, mane soaked in blood. Mashyuu looked down at himself covered in blood and smeared it off his body for what seemed like nearly thirty minutes. Once he was at least clean enough to see his flesh again Mashyuu jumped down the beast's body and landed behind it's head. Slowly he stalked over to the Lion and peered into it's mouth. Blue eyes darted about and a brow sharply lifted. "Well at leas there is one good tooth. You my friend are in need of a tooth brush." Mashyuu muttered and grabbed on to a fanged tooth. Slowly he started to tug at the beast's tooth and twist, barely budging it. Mashyuu's muscles bulged from his body while he twisted at the tooth as best as he could. The Wizard focused on his mana and increased his physical strength, at last ripping the fang that was as big as he was from the Lion's gum.

After flopping on the ground next to the large fang of the Lion Mashyuu started to laugh and placed his right hand on his face. "I'm so glad nobody was here to see all this. They would have laughed at me for a month straight. Itori would have called me a fool for brawling my way through this and not having a real strategy and Kanix would be freaking out, thinking I was close to death." Mashyuu mused to himself. The Slayer got up and pulled a few long strands from the Lion's main and wrapped it around the Lion's tooth. He dropped down and placed Rocky over one shoulder and started to drag the tooth over the other.

The sun started to set when Mashyuu made it back to the village, Rocky was wrapped in his jacket, under his left arm. The mane rope Masyuu put together pulled taught against the tooth he dragged over his right shoulder, and behind him was a massive trail in the sandy dirt from where the Lion had fallen to the village's front gate. A guard at the doors went wide eyed at the sight of Mashyuu dragging the tooth and ran up to help the Slayer. The dark skinned man opened a small bottle of water that was hooked to his waist and gave it to Mashyuu. Mashyuu dropped the rope and swiftly started drinking the water. After choking on the liquid Mashyuu wiped his mouth clean and handed the bottle back to the guard. "Thank you my friend, I've slain the beast that has been hunting your people. May I please see your Chief?" The Earthen Wizard asked.

The guard happily nodded up and down and helped Mashyuu drag the tooth back to the village elders hut. Once there the man thanked Mashyuu and returned to his post. Carefully Mashyuu slipped into the hut where the village Elder was waiting for Mashyuu. He spread his arms happily towards the Wizard and walked to give Mashyuu a happy hug. "You're friend, the stone animal saved our young. And I saw you coming with the tooth. Truly you have done our people a great service and forever you will be known as the Beast Master! Thank you Mashyuu. If you ever require aid do not hesitate to ask." The elder stated and offered Mashyuu the agreed upon Jewels. The next day Mashyuu and Rocky bid farewell to their new friends and headed off back for the Sabertooth guild hall to celebrate a job well done. (End)
