A frown formed across Ardere's pale lips, he crouched down to talk to the young girl. I'm sorry. I take no pleasure in killing, in fact I detest it. But there is a difference between killing people and killing monsters. If I had let them retreat, they would have come back with even more numbers. We're in Sin, the demon capital of the world. The demons here would eat even women and children, the worst of the worst Hell has to offer. Placing his hand on the young girl's shoulder for a moment, he stood back up. His nose had caught the scent of something near, perhaps another demon. The guild master's hand slid to his sword, but it seemed he would not get the chance to interfere. Perhaps it was best he didn't as siblings and their relationships were quite complex at time. Instead, he jumped back and watched Lexa's display of power. She was strong for her rank, with the will to take care of her dear sister. He rather enjoyed watching the two, they were so different. He only had one daughter, but as far as he was concerned he had many children in his guild, and taking care of many different types of people was his forte. Folding his arms, the static electricity almost made his hair stand up. And within a matter of moments, it was over. The world is dark and scary Lilian, but there is also light. Your powers may have their origins in darkness, but be that light. If you dont do that for yourself, no one else will. Cracking his knuckles, the heat from the volcano kept his body warm, as if he needed it. Loosening his armor, the fire mage nodded. Alright. One last lesson before I leave, but I'm going to need to see your progress first. So show me your concentrated flame. 

Folding his arms, Ardere watched as the little black flame grew. Power was massing, but there was an amount of control to it. She could not become a master in a day, but hopefully he had taught her some valuable information that would lead to her growing and becoming stronger. Continuing to watch, he waited until the flame reached it's peak to move closer. Standing there, he looked down into her little eyes with his bright orange ones. She was a lovely young girl, but she had much to learn before she was ready to fight in this world, at least for herself. Waiting until the flames dissipated, he put his arms behind his back and looked down at her. Before you can fight for others, you must know how to fight for yourself. Crouching down to speak with her, he put an arm over his knee. With a half smile, he finished their lesson. Remember, you control the flame. Don't let it control you. Now take care of your sister, and she will take care of you. Family is important, don't ever let it go. Tightening his armor, the fire mage turned to leave, but before doing so he had some parting words. Practice every day with your fire magic, and you will become very strong. You did well. Resilience is the key, don't give up. We'll meet again. If you need me, you know where to find me. The same goes for you, Lexa. It was at this point that he would get a running start, before leaping off of the cliff. The wind rushing past his hair and ears, it would appear as if he had just jumped for no reason. Then, he landed on the deck of his ship. The humming and revving of the engines sounded throughout the volcano. Waving goodbye, he was gone within moments. Take care!
