Nightmare Challenge: Ice Mage's greatest work! [Riley l DragonPantsu ll Job]

     With Scisara in hand, Haretsa jumped up in the air as she was running towards the largest ice figure. The young girl swung the scythe down hard, the energy blade ripping through the figures arm as it dodged and being planted down into the frozen earth. The heat from Scisara’s blade made slicing through ice incredibly easy as well as effortlessly melting away the snow on the ground. Pulling the blade up from the ground, Haretsa continued her assault on the large ice construct, spinning her scythe rapidly about her to keep the figure on the defensive.

    The other ice figures that had surrounded Haretsa simply stood there and watched as the Fire Dragon Slayer assaulted their stronger counterpart. They felt rather useless when compared to the white haired girl’s power. She could melt away all of their ice attacks effortlessly and as far they knew, her fire could simply turn their water to harmless steam. Then there was Riley who was clad in a full suit of armor and was capable of eating the figures alive. What could they possibly do that would be able to fend off these intruders? Despite knowing these things, the figures had to attack. It was their mission to keep all outsiders away from this land and that’s exactly what they were going to do; no matter the cost.

   All at once, the other three figures waved their hands through the air, sending a mixture of icicles and water flying towards Haretsa. "Persistent little jack wagons, aint ya?" she commented, gripping Scisara with her left hand as she lit her right hand ablaze, forming the flames into a scythe that extended one meter out from her arm."FIRE DRAGON'S... Um... Er... INFERNO WING! YEAH LETS GO WITH THAT!!!" Haretsa shouted, bringing her right hand around to slash through all the incoming attacks, melting the ice and cleaving the water into steam. The large figure took this opportunity to jump back away from the girl and prepare for an attack. Lucrecia's Pet: Spider Swarm! the figure spoke, unleashing a small army of little ice made spiders crawling towards Haretsa from the figures one remaining hand. The young Dragon Slayer froze in place from the very moment she heard the figure utter the word "spider." Her face turned pale as if she had seen a ghost and as the creature drew closer, Haretsa let out a terrified scream. "EEEEEEEEK!!!! GET THEM AWAY GET THEM AWAY GET THEM AWAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!! CURSED LITTLE FREAKIN HELLSPAWNS!!!" she shouted, running straight past Riley as if her very life was in peril.

     Thing’s just seemed to go from bad to worse for the arachnophobic Dragon Slayer. Haretsa thought that she had managed to run past her partner, but the snow storm must have been playing tricks with her eyes as she ended up colliding with Riley instead; sending both Dragon Slayer’s to the ground. ”Yes, SPIDERS! THE FREAKING CREEPY LITTLE HELLSPAWNS WITH TOO MANY DAMN LEGS AND FRIGGIN EYES AND JUST… ECK!!!” Haretsa shouted at Riley’s questioning of whether or not she was serious, sitting up and holding her head after having it collide with Riley’s armor.

    Riley managed to squash a few of them under her armored boots, but this only seemed to cause further problems. The spiders merely grew in size after Riley had squashed them, causing Haretsa to freak out even more. ”K-KILL IT. KILL IT WITH FIRE!!” she screamed in horror, jumping up to her feet and gripping Scisara in hand as her knees trembled. ”S-Scisara!! KILL THEM ALL!!!” the girl commanded, throwing her scythe as if it were a boomerang towards the large spiders that Riley had created as the ice figures around them merely watched on in amusement. Surprisingly, Haretsa’s idea managed to work, Scisara cleaving quite a number of the spiders in half and melting/shattering them before the scythe landed in the ground. While it may have worked, the problem now was one of Haretsa’s best tools against these ice figures and their constructs was now surrounded by several ice spiders. ”...Ok… gotta be brave… gotta be brave for Scisara… Just… run as fast as you can, grab her, and keep running and we’ll be fine…. JUST FINE…. I’M COMIN FOR YA GIRL!!” she shouted, running full speed into the hoard.

     Keeping her eye on Scisara, Haretsa ducked and dodged all the spiders lunging at her; her skin crawling at the thought of one of those things actually touching her. Out of the corner of her eye, the young Slayer happened to catch the large ice figure preparing to make another attack; presumably more spiders since the figure could see Haretsa was terrified of them. ”AH HELL NAW, BITCH!” she yelled, grabbing Scisara, ripping the scythe out of the ground and aiming the weapons barrel straight for the large figures head; squeezing the trigger down three times with her hands masterfully handling the bolt action until the figures head exploded and Haretsa flew back and landed flat on her ass from the recoil. Luckily, she didn’t have much to worry about as this seemed to cause the remaining spiders to shatter instantly. At least that was one less thing that she had to worry about.
